“Yummy Pizza”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 30 August 2013

We ordered the pizza to go because we were camping and had just survived a downpour. We needed some hot food. They had a lot signs around the restaurant with lots of funny sayings and quotes. They were entertaining, which was good because it took awhile to get our pizza. They also sell chocolates by the pound - very yummy. The pizza was good and they were able to cater to special requests. It wasn't the best pizza I've ever had, but it was great.

“Best in town”

One of the two good restaurants in town. Great selection and value. Only drawback for booze drinkers is they only have beer and wine

“An Enjoyable Meal”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 6 July 2013

While getting seated was a little slow and the wait staff being a little slow, the meal was worth the wait. This is far beyond a pizza joint, it is also a very good Italian restaurant. The pawns and bow tie pasta with allfredo sauce was excellent. You quickly realize that the food is not some chain store prepared meal. It is prepared on sight and done very well. This was a very enjoyable meal and I will definitely go back when in Oroville, WA. I definitely recommend this restaurant if you are in or going through Oroville.

“Great Chocolate Dessert!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 24 June 2013

The food at "Hometown" in Oroville is not "assembly line" Italian by any means. The service is good and they make every effort to meet any special requests that one has. The baked goods, including pizza crust and desserts are made "in house". The CHOCOLATE desserts are the best!!! Of special interest to chocolate lovers is the display case fulled of hand made chocolate candies that one has to pass by on the way to your table or as you exit. "Pass by" may not be the right word as very few folks don't stop to at least ogle the "goodies". The whole establishment has a family atmosphere and there is even a "kiddies corner" with toys. Reservations for larger groups are recommended. Our family has celebrated several birthdays at "Hometown". and always had a great time.
