Stayed here last night and we were thrilled. Absolutley stunning location, with loads of character and charm!

If you are looking for a 5 star B+B in York this is the best one you will find - and trust me I have stayed in loads!

First class service!

The title of our review really sums up everything! The first point of contact we had was with Rob (the manager) when we made our booking. Professional ,knowledgable and friendly ,everything from then on was what you would expect from a 5 star hotel! So much thought has gone in to the planning and development of this lodge and it's seamless.
It,s a B&B with beautiful comfortable bedrooms ,spacious relaxing lounges, excellent breakfasts with friendly genuine service and set within rural tranquility yet it's only minutes from the outlet centre park and ride for York. The best of all worlds when it comes to enjoying what York has to offer.

Room Tip: The property is a farm conversion with a range of rooms in varied locations, let them know when booki...

This was such a surprise as we had taken up a Groupon offer, we certainly weren't expecting this marvellous standard of b&b. A real gem, set in beautiful open countryside. Excellent service, breakfast cooked to order, all local produce, served the way you requested. You will not regret staying here. 5 stars

The Room was top notch, wonderful Wet Room-Bathroom Good Television/DVD combined-Large Screen-- excellent Library of DVDs available at no charge, along with a very large Book collection of top titles to borrow at no cost. Had a lovely relaxing weekend break. Lodge very well decorated and clean. The lounge was very modern and bright. Breakfast was very nice. In the bathroom the bath was very nice, but the only problem was that the door only opened half way because the bath had taken up most of the space. Not very well planned. Came home with a few bruises but still had a lovely time. Would go again

We have just spent 3 of the most relaxing nights at the Deighton lodge. From the moment that we arrived to the moment that we left we were looked after very well by everyone.Everywhere was spacious. Decor excellent. The last night of our stay, we where the only 2 people in the house, you are left to your own devices and you can make yourself at home. Beautiful place, we stayed in the castle which is the most secluded room with its own staircase, very nice. Rob is a great guy always open to any new ideas. Breakfast really nice, even the novelty teapots and the individual bottles of juice give that finishing touch and put a smile on your face. They have there own snooker room,
even if you don't play snooker give it a visit well worth seeing. Fantastic stay will defiantly will return and will be recommending to all our friends.

Room Tip: Looked at all rooms, all excellent.

Just had a great overnight stay with excellent breakfast at Deighton Lodge near York. It is a wonderful relaxing place in the countryside but handy for York and particularly handy for the Macarthur Glen outlet less than 5 minutes away. The rooms are very modern and new, and the snooker room is an excellent addition for those wishing to relax. Rob and all the staff are very friendly and welcoming. We will definitely be back!
