Stayed here using a groupon deal back in May, so wish I'd of gone for 2 day option! On arrival we were warmly greeted by Rob who proceeded to show us round! There was a very impressive snooker room which we took advantage of when we got back from a night out in York! Our room was beautiful, with superb views to boot! The whole place was also beautifully decorated to a very high standard! Our breakfast the next day was very tasty, again great quality with no sauce bottles (a good sign for me ha ha!) It's situated about 5 mins either way of York town centre and the shopping outlet! Perfect location to visit both! I fell in love with the place and I'm sure you will too! :-) xx

Visited Deighton Lodge for a weekend over Easter and it was amazing. The pictures looked good on their website so we were hoping for something special (but have been fooled in the past by pictures in hotels - a bit like Estate Agents they can sometimes not quite tell the whole truth!!) and when we got to Deighton Lodge we were not disappointed. The room was as good, if not better, than the website promised.
The Lodge is in a perfect location, so quiet and peaceful, we sat out in the gardens after breakfast and found it so relaxing that we found it hard to get up the energy to go into York (our intended destination for the day).
The Lodge is just down the road from the park and ride into York and, other than being restricted with the times we had to return by, the park and ride is by far the best way to get into York.
All in all we had a fantastic weekend and would highly recommend Deighton Lodge to anyone looking for a relaxing break. We will definitely be returning.

The title of our review really sums up everything! The first point of contact we had was with Rob (the manager) when we made our booking. Professional ,knowledgable and friendly ,everything from then on was what you would expect from a 5 star hotel! So much thought has gone in to the planning and development of this lodge and it's seamless.
It,s a B&B with beautiful comfortable bedrooms ,spacious relaxing lounges, excellent breakfasts with friendly genuine service and set within rural tranquility yet it's only minutes from the outlet centre park and ride for York. The best of all worlds when it comes to enjoying what York has to offer.

Room Tip: The property is a farm conversion with a range of rooms in varied locations, let them know when booki...

This was such a surprise as we had taken up a Groupon offer, we certainly weren't expecting this marvellous standard of b&b. A real gem, set in beautiful open countryside. Excellent service, breakfast cooked to order, all local produce, served the way you requested. You will not regret staying here. 5 stars

Had a lovely relaxing weekend break. Lodge very well decorated and clean. The lounge was very modern and bright. Breakfast was very nice. In the bathroom the bath was very nice, but the only problem was that the door only opened half way because the bath had taken up most of the space. Not very well planned. Came home with a few bruises but still had a lovely time. Would go again
