The smell of fryer oil is what hits you when you enter. You order at counter and then sit. We ordered Bacon Cheeseburger on Sourdough bread - comes with fries. The bread was very hard and crumbly but the burger wasn't bad. The fries weren't quite done but were hot. Like all other restaurants here the prices seemed high for what you got but that's the location I guess. Overall the town of Packwood looks like it's going through hard times - many of the businesses are closed with for sale signs.

Since there really isn't much to choose from in Packwood, my husband and I decided to get pizza from here. The woman who delivered our pizza to the table just kind of threw it down and didn't say anything to us even after we said 'thank you'. We sat in the corner booth and I could see a lot of dust and cobwebs behind the giant screen TV. I just chose to not look back there. The pizza was good. Nothing extraordinary. It was pretty convenient location, and it was fast service, but seemed a little expensive, but that is what you get in the middle of nowhere.

Walked late in, half an hour before closing... and we were welcomed how it should be. Very helpfull.

Good pizza, salad bar was nice and all was neat, clean and cosy atmosphere.

We really enjoyed it.

We came to Cruisers on a Monday at lunchtime, as it seemed to be the only thing open. We were driving through from Yakima. The first thing we noticed on the menu were that things were expensive! Burgers were $9 each, so for the 3 of us, it would have been a more expensive lunch than we were expecting. We got a pepperoni pizza $11, the other specialty pizzas, were $22 and up for a small. The pizza was good. The atmosphere was fine. There were some video games at one end and a TV at the other. The TV was set to news, and I have a little one, so I got our table facing the other direction.

Cruisers has good food, good prices, and excellent service. They have the best hours in town and are right on the main road in the center of town, which makes them a very convenient dining choice. The have a pretty standard fare of pizza and hamburgers, but they have a little bit of variety and the food tastes good.

Aside from the excellent service, it's also very clean. This won't make the Michelin guide but if you're in Packwood, this is a very good option.
