“Rooms lovely”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 22 October 2011

The room here was quite nice with a pretty view. The only problem is that the restaurant is very overpriced and there is no other eating establishment anywhere nearby so you are sort of stuck. The resort is somewhat isolated in that regard. But it is a lovely setting.

We stayed in a deluxe room on the 3rd floor (315) had a great view of the marina, water Mountains, and sunset. Beautiful! There were 2 queen beds in this room and a large tub with windows that opened up to the room if you wanted them open. The Fireside restaurant is on the first floor of the hotel. Great service, but the food is overly priced and overly seasoned. My Family went kayaking in double kayaks available from the marina, which is walking distance from the hotel. Great Resort community. There are many walking paths that will take you all over town and through communitys. Ask about the Ludlow falls trail which is about a 5 min drive away and a .5 mile loop trail that is a nice easy walk throught a woodland trail will see the falls.

Room Tip: There are certain rooms that will allow pets not the nicer rooms with a view and $35.00 fee for the...

I brought in clients from out of state for a business retreat. We flew into Port Ludlow via Kenmore Air (sea plane) which was absolutely amazing. The floating dock is right next to the Inn, so it is a very short stroll to the lobby.

Check in was fast and friendly. The rooms accommodations are nice, not over the top, but very comfortable, welcoming and nice. The rooms have a large bathroom area with whirlpool tub, electric fire place with two lounge chairs in front and a very comfortable bed. I was lucky to have a balcony with my room where I went out to watch the boats and birds fly while I drank a glass of wine and read a book. This is a very peaceful and even romantic place.

There are condos around the Inn that are very nice as well as a golf course where everything is peaceful. There is a small walking trail with chairs along the path to sit and enjoy the view. You could see the Olimpic Mountains from my balcony in the distance. What a beautiful scenic place.

There is a conference center space on site that was very accommodating. It held all 15 of us at a table plus another area with lounge seating and a huge fireplace. The wait staff checks in on you to provide drinks and food.

We hosted dinner on property as well and had the most amazing dinner. Wonderful food and the steak was out of this world juicy and tender. No one had a bad experience. After dinner we all sat outside on their very nice deck and had the overhead heater on. It was a beautiful end to the day / evening.

If you are looking for a lot of entertainment, this is not the location for you. If you are hosting a smaller business opportunity, a couple wanting some peaceful time away from the busy lifestyle this would be a great place.

Room Tip: Make sure to ask for a room with a balcony. All these rooms are located on the 2nd floor. The corn...

We were concerned about the lack of amenities but ended up having a lovely experience. We chose the resort because of the golf (which was great especially at the 2 for 1 rate and a lovely course!), but didn't realize how isolated the inn was. That turned out to be a plus. We enjoyed a perfect dinner at Ajax restaurant in Port Hadlock which was an eclectic restaurant with organically prepared food. Then we returned to our lovely room with fireplace, with huge jetted tub and pretty marina view. Enjoyed coffee from the deck watching the light change at daybreak. Very peaceful and serene.

Room Tip: We notice our room had a balcony, but not all did. Enjoyed the balcony. Defintely preferred to fac...

HOTEL NEEDS PAINT REDONE ON OUTSIDE PEELING EVERYWHERE INSIDE decorated so WARM AND COZY THE LOBBY WAS LIKE WALKING INTO SOMEONES HOME . THE Fireside restaurant very expensive. the rooms awesome and roomy . the beds so hard and causes hard spots of pressure needs foam gel matt topper . towels the softest i have ever felt in a hotel. we had 7 rooms for our party for my sons wedding and they all were happy but said the beds were so uncomfortable they could not stay over 1 night next time the sheets were advertised as european Hmmm thin and rough sheets felt like 200 thread count. a good assortment of pillows soft to firm the bathroom large and room for 2 to get ready .

Room Tip: ask for full marina view and if you want a veranda/deck ask for the suite

My guy and I stayed at The Port Ludlow Resort this weekend. The room was great....very clean, fantastic view of the marina, warm fireplace, great big tub overlooking the water, never heard the slightest sound all night. Romantic setting, quiet and relaxing. Our room seemed a bit nicer than the pics on this site. The only negative feedback I can think of was the desk staff didn't seem overly thrilled to answer questions or be present at the desk (they were in the office). I'd also add that the restaurant at the Inn is pricey for what you get and has a limited (but gourmet) menu. Again, the staff didn't seem thrilled to wait on us for breakfast. Overall, we did have a fabulous experience, mostly due to the beautiful room and view. Towles as big as sheets...the added touches that really make a difference. A friendly and welcoming attitude is all I can think of to make this place a definite 5 "dots." We will try for the 5 next time...do plan to go back.

Room Tip: Get a corner room for added windows/views. A good book and a great bottle of wine are all you need t...

beautiful location, brunch at the restuarant was good although pricey with no mimosa's, or coffee included with your meal.

Room Tip: we were on the seond floor room 212 i think and it had a great view.
