“Perfect romantic setting for Wedding/Anniversary”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 3 June 2012

My husband and I booked the queen suite to celebrate our 30th Anniv. It was perfect! Upon arrival, we found a bottle of champagne chilling in an ice bucket on the counter with two champagne glasses. The suite is very comfortable. You walk into a small sitting area with couch and coffee table facing a fireplace with windows on each side looking out onto the water, a large tv is found on the left in an enclosed cabinet, bedroom with queen bed and another amazing view is on the right. There is a small fridge under the counter w/sink and a beautiful, large bathroom with a jetted tub (for 2) that has yet another view of the water and separate small shower.
There are also two small balconies where we sat to enjoy the view with a glass of wine. Only one balcony is equipped with chairs.
We ate at the restaurant twice; dinner and breakfast. Both of our meals were excellent. The chippino is incredible, best I have ever had. The service is top notch.

Room Tip: If you like to hike, drive into the small Port Ludlow village area and follow signs (a very small st...

This had everything we were looking for: overlooking natural beauty and water; great restaurant and food as that is important to us "foodies"; very personable and accommodating
staff (remembering us and our favorites) from the booking to housekeeping to wait staff; great beds; rooms overlooking marina with small deck. Saw double rainbow the night we arrived but blue sky and gorgeous the next day......couldn't have been better! It was a great getaway and we loved every minute and will definitely be back!!

Room Tip: Corner King bed room overlooking the marina was perfect!! Try the Ludlow vodka martini....WOW!!

We decided "last minute" to get away for the night, and fortunately Port Ludlow had a loft room for us. We bought the golf package which was a great deal! Will definitely do that again. The course was beautiful and not too crowded even though it was a holiday weekend. Staff at the hotel was super friendly and helpful, dinner and wine was delicious outside on their porch. The room was minimal, but a great location and clean - really, just fine for the price. We hadn't stayed in Port Ludlow for years but will for sure be coming back to The Resort. Drove into town for brunch in Port Townsend the next morning which is a quick 25 min. Along the waterfront it's a beautiful drive.

We recently spent a holiday weekend in the Pintail House at the Resort at Port Ludlow with a couple that are close friends. We had stayed in a room at the Inn before and had a wonderful experience then. The house was very well equipped with everything we needed and the furnishings were very comfortable. The view overlooking the marina was spectacular and we spent a lot of time on the deck enjoying the open fire pit. There are also several walking trails and the Port Ludlow Golf Club was beautiful.
If you want to spend some time relaxing in a luxurious home I would highly recommend the Pintail House. The house had plenty of room for two couples to enjoy their privacy but also had sleeper sofas if you have more people in your party.
Relax, chill out, enjoy!

Room Tip: The master bedroom has a fireplace and overlooks the marina.

What a fabulous Memorial Day Golf Weekend! The weather cooperated and I got to play at one of my favorite courses and then when we checked in I was DELIGHTED with our accommodations as well. Entertaining marina view, fireplace, delicious coffee, and jacuzzi with all the accoutrements….soaps, salts, loofahs, coco butter, and comfy robe. In addition to a delightful meal at the resort we also highly recommend Ajax Café in Port Hadlock for a fine meal and entertainment.

We have stayed at the Inn several times, once with another couple. The rooms are very clean, large and with operational windows for fresh air! Bath amenities are very nice with double sinks, jacuzzi tub and a shower. The restaurant cuisine was excellent with use of local produce. Best eggs we have eaten with yolks the color they should be! The golf course is challenging and maintained well. However, other than golf, or you do not have a boat, there is not much to do. Walking the grounds is ok but not much beach to comb. Travel to Port Townsend is not far with some history to learn and some small shops to shop. Best part is quiet, relaxing and comfortable!

A very friendly, clean and comfortable place. Rooms are big and have a lovely fireplace and some have balconies. It is great that they allow dogs and are so friendly towards dogs. The building is in desperate need of painting and the rooms also need some updating. The fleshy-pink color used on the bathroom tiles and the paint went out in the 80’s. The styles of the room are meant to be Northwest-cozy but the décor does not reflect it. The tiles on the fireplaces are black & white and don’t match. A good decorator could update the hotel even with a low budget.
As mentioned before they should do away with the $10 resort fee, since there is no pool. I was told the fee is for coffee in the room, wi-fi, parking and the printer in the lobby. These are all standard items included in all hotels.
We ate dinner as well as breakfast in the restaurant, since there is nothing else in the area. Dinner was good, but was lacking spices and presentation and is a little overpriced for the quality of the food. The waitstaff is nice, but a little rough and curt. All in all it is a comfortable place to stay and we would come back.
