Stayed at the Inn at Port Ludow last month with my wife. It is a very romantic hotel in a great setting. Our room was large with and well appointed with gas fireplace, TV, Keurig coffee maker, and separate jetted tub that opened up to the rest of the room. It is beautifully decorated and had a deck with chairs to sit out on and look out at the marina. A couple of the details did need some work. On both evenings we tried to use the gas fireplace and it either didn't work at all or keep turning on and off. We were told to crack a window to equalize the pressure in the fireplace by the front desk, but that didn't seem to work either. Also, the size of the jetted tub falls while large is still very short, so even 1 person has a hard time stretching their legs out in it.

The restaurant was great! On the first night we both had seafood (I had the sturgeon and my wife the salmon) and they were both incredible! We also had the truffle fries and they too were amazing. Breakfast the next morning proved to be equally impressive. Their banana french toast made my eyes roll back into my head. The only disappointment was on the second night when we had their burger. It was overcooked and served on a rustic roll, that seemed to amplify the lack of moisture. Service was always great at all our meals.

Overall, this is a very nice romantic hotel. It could be fantastic with just a little polish and attention to detail.

Room Tip: Get one overlooking the water.

Thank you for your recent review. Your honest appraisal is deeply appreciated...this is what helps us understand how we are really doing....

We are delighted that you enjoyed the room and the amenities. We especially appreciate that such a well traveled guest would provide high marks to our culinary team. We are fully committed to our farmers, fisheries and local artisans and that, though sometimes a challenge, allows us to be creative and really walk the talk about our dining opportunity. We will take a look at the burger...perhaps the bun needs to be modified - it is from a local bakery and they will work with us to change it up as we determine...so - thanks for that insight.

We do hope to see you again soon and are delighted that you added us to your list of travels. Until then, CHEERS!

Nice, clean, staff friendly enough but are not overly pleasant, informative, caring. We brought movies and ask for a DVD player, they could not find the cords for connection in the back, they just looked in a shelve and say sorry we don't have it. I guess it is the only nice place around and they do plenty of business , but I will not recommend it as the customer service is not friendly enough for my standards.

Thank you for making the time to share your impressions with us. We are very sorry to learn of your disappointment - and especially that you didn't feel that we were friendly. Our team strives to provide outstanding service to our guests - and it appears we failed to extend that to you - or that we left you with that impression. Our rooms are not equipped with DVD players (we have one to offer on a first come/first serve basis)- we find most of our guests are traveling with their computers these days and have not invested in this amenity, so our apology if that was your expectation. We do plan on upgrading our in room movie offerings in the next year and hope that will provide the service you anticipated. Thanks again for making us aware and we do hope you'll give us another try down the road. Until then, safe and happy travels.

What a great little getaway! Our room was a Queen Suite. You walk into a living room setting with a beautiful view of Port Ludlow bay. Off to the right was the bedroom and off to the left was the bathroom... With a much exciting surprise... Jacuzzi tub that we didn't know was part of the room. Room was a great price for a weekend and the $50 dining credit was awesome! The food was amazing and I can't wait to go back!! Thank you!!

I travel often throughout the state of WA, and have become fairly critical, though objective, in evaluating my accommodations. Try as I might, I am hard-pressed to come up with a single complaint about my stay at the Inn at Port Ludlow. The staff was consistently professional and welcoming, the food inventive and satiating, and the room and ambience incomparably relaxing. Visiting in the middle of February, I was concerned about the lack of activities that I would be able to enjoy due to weather -- certainly hiking, golfing, and sailing were less than enticing. However, the comforting atmosphere of the inn was such that we had absolutely no desire to leave. We were completely content simply sitting in front of our fireplace, enjoying our view of the marina. We ate at the Fireside twice, both for dinner and breakfast, and were impressed with the presentation and quality of our meals on each occasion. We also took advantage of the in-room spa services, and received one of the most satisfying, relaxing massages I've had in recent memory. My only minor complaint is that the internet service provided by the inn was slow at times, but again, the inconvenience of this service was far outweighed by our satisfaction with every other aspect of our stay. A wonderful place that receives my unequivocal recommendation.

The room was ready upon arrival and we transitioned from the car to the room in less than five minutes. The room was comfy and quiet. The walks around the property were lovely and dog friendly. The staff was warm and welcoming. The food was very good. I tried the lamb chops one night and they were so delicious that I had to tell the chef the next morning. All in all I enjoyed my stay and look forward to returning. It afforded me a chance to explore the area, Chimacum and Hadlock. Wonderful restaurant in Chimacum

Room Tip: I stayed in 210 with view and deck. loved location

Thank you for making the time to share your impressions...and we are delighted that you enjoyed your stay with us. Yes, the ease of arrival is something we do not take for granted - and we appreciate that you liked this too. We so enjoy our guests - and our four legged friends too...in fact, we hope you will be able to return in April or May as we launch our package focused on dogs. We especially appreciate that you enjoyed the lamb...not something we are able to have on the menu every night (as you know, we change it daily) but when we do it is bonus and our guests seem to love the way Chef prepares this dish. We look forward to your return visit and again, thanks so much for the review.

Great stay at the quiet resort. Came to stay after a wedding in Port Gamble. Great, spacious rooms, loved the fireplaces. Dinner at the Fireside restaurant was delish! They do offer in room spa treatments in conjunction with a local day spa, but would love to see an in house spa option for guests.

Room Tip: I'd ask for a high floor (3) so you don't hear the other Jacuzzi tubs. Corners offer the bes...

Thank you for making our resort part of your recent wedding celebration in nearby Port Gamble. We are delighted that you enjoyed the fireplaces and the spacious accommodations. A stay at the Inn would be incomplete without dining in The Fireside - so we are happy that you had time to do so..."delish" says it all! We also appreciate the feedback on having a spa on site....this helps us know what guests are thinking - and though it isn't in the current plans, we have made note of the suggestion. In the meantime, in room massages/treatments are quite popular and many guests tell us they actually prefer this - that way they can just relax without having to re-dress immediately following...We do hope to see you again soon - and again, thanks so much for making the time to share.

My wife, our puppy and I had a great time at the Resort at Port . More than dog friendly, a loving and caring staff, a great resort to bring your pet and family to relax. We loved the bathroom jacuzzi and the room fireplace. Enjoyed the winter special weekend rate and the $100 food credit at the Fireside Restaurant.

We are happy to hear that you were able to enjoy a recent visit to our resort. It means the world to us that you recognized our culture of caring - yes, for you, your wife and your puppy! We often hear how guests enjoy the amenities of the jetted tub and gas fireplace...and the dining credit is always put to good use in The Fireside. You may want to make note that we will be celebrating our furry friends in a special way throughout April & May as we kick- off our handcrafted dog treats and provide yet another reason to travel to Port Ludlow. Hope to see you soon - and again, thanks so much for making the time to share your impressions.
