This was our second visit to the Resort, courtesy of our daughter via Gift Certificate and once again we enjoyed every minute. The room is beautifully appointed with window facing "south' and balcony facing the Marina. The jetted tub is luxurious, as are the robes, Keurig coffee and soft, comfortable bed and we enjoyed the fireplace (not timer!). The Fireside has delicious food, albeit dainty portions, and the service was excellent, allowing us time to enjoy our wine before rushing us thru' the meal. We will return.

You have done a very good job as a parent! Kudos for your daughter and her generosity - delighted that you were on the receiving end of this one. We really appreciate our loyal guests and are happy you not only made a return visit, but plan on future ones. We love that you enjoyed the amenities of the room....we do hear from guests about the comfy beds - and what is a guest room, if not that? Thanks also for sharing your views about the dining experience....gracious service and memorable food/beverage is our goal - so we are thrilled that these resonated with you. We look forward to seeing you again soon - and thank you for making the time to share this review.

Long weekend to the peninsula for our anniversary and stayed here with a Living Social discount.
Room was lovely: gas fireplace, deck and chairs, clean, comfy bed. Would have preferred marina side and a microwave but no biggie. Would stay again without question and loved the kayaks. Dinner at The Fireside was awesome and Bobbi, our waitress/bartender did not rush us through our meal at all.

Room Tip: Marina side offers the best views.

Thank you for your kind review. We are delighted that you were able to learn about our property through the Living Social campaign. We especially appreciate that you enjoyed the pace of your dinner in The Fireside and your service by Bobbi. Thanks so much for being specific about that aspect of the visit....we will be sure and acknowledge her as well. Yes - the kayaking is pretty special in our bay...and the photos from guests have been really interesting lately - starfish, many different birds and the views - well, what can you say to describe those? We look forward to having you with us again soon - and thanks again for making the time to share your impressions.

As a last minute decision to celebrate, we were fortunate enough to find this wonderful Resort
and had a very romantic and restful stay.
The room and amenities were above expectation, with comfortable chairs positioned strategically in front of a very cozy fireplace. Lovely jetted tub centrally located in the room.Spaceous layout with nice bedding and good bed(i'm picky).
We ate at the resturant twice and enjoyed faboulous and different menu items.
We also took advantage of the spa service and Janet provided the best pedicure and manicure we ever had.
I would highly recomend this resort for a very laid back and relaxing stay.
We were able to actully have the Manager Debbie personally converse with us and ask how are stay was and anything that she could do to enhance it.
this is definenitely not the norm in our travels and very much appreciated.

We look forward to returning.

We love the fact that you are spontaneous and that we benefited by being your choice for a romantic/relaxing/refreshing stay. We really appreciate that you commented on the layout of the room and how you were able to enjoy this....many of our guests love the two chairs in front of the fireplace....it does create an invitation to slow down and breathe. Thanks, too, for the kind remark about our spa services. Each of the team there take great pride in caring for our guests in a personal and unique way...and Janet shines in this arena.

We love that you enjoyed the offerings in The Fireside and hope to see you there often now that you've discovered this gem.

Thanks for being picky - that tells us a lot about how we are doing and we are grateful that you made the time to share your impressions. Happy Travels.

We traveled with another couple to this lovely place. None of us had stayed here before. We were excited to stay at a new place and we were not disappointed! The rooms are perfect. It was a nice surprise to have the fireplace adds so much ambiance. We checked in and went down to the bar for a drink before our friends arrived and had some delicious oysters and wine at the bar. Breakfast the next morning was delightful. everyone loved their dishes. We spent the day exploring and found a fantastic cider tasting at Eaglemount. Highly, highly recommend. We came back and relaxed and had dinner at The Fireside. I had the Mako Shark Loin and it was unbelievable. So delicious The food at this place is phenomenal. If you have a chance to come here do it! The staff here is very nice and helpful!

Room Tip: choose a room with the marine view!

Wow! Thank you for the very kind review. Perfect is one of our favorite words!

Yes, we are thrilled to have the fireplaces in all guest rooms - and they get used all year long as our mild climate invites this coziness.

We are so happy you got to enjoy a bit of the Cidery Tour too...we have several besides Eaglemount that are crafting remarkable ciders and other beverages. Next time you might try out FinnRiver and Aplenglow....And oh, yes, that Mako Shark was something else!

Thanks again for making time to share your specific experiences...we look forward to seeing you again soon.

I had a wonderful stay at Resort at Port Ludlow! I was there on business, and was treated to a fantastic room with a fireplace, and a jacuzzi tub. The view of the water was lovely, and since I was there in February the fireplace and jacuzzi were both greatly appreciated. Every meal I had in the dining room was delicious. For dinner I had a lamb special which was amazing, (it makes me smile to just think about it) and the breakfast and lunch were ample and delicious. The service was also wonderful. All the staff were very helpful. It is a beautiful hotel and I highly recommend it!

Thank you for your very kind review....we are delighted that you found the accommodations to your liking! Thanks also for sharing your impressions of the dining room experience....though we don't have lamb on the menu every day, when we do, it is always a highlight for our guests. We have sunshine today and the flowers are bursting out of the earth....sounds like a return visit is in order so you can begin to experience our property in each season....we do hope to see you again soon and we really appreciate that you made time to comment on your stay.

Stayed at the Inn at Port Ludow last month with my wife. It is a very romantic hotel in a great setting. Our room was large with and well appointed with gas fireplace, TV, Keurig coffee maker, and separate jetted tub that opened up to the rest of the room. It is beautifully decorated and had a deck with chairs to sit out on and look out at the marina. A couple of the details did need some work. On both evenings we tried to use the gas fireplace and it either didn't work at all or keep turning on and off. We were told to crack a window to equalize the pressure in the fireplace by the front desk, but that didn't seem to work either. Also, the size of the jetted tub falls while large is still very short, so even 1 person has a hard time stretching their legs out in it.

The restaurant was great! On the first night we both had seafood (I had the sturgeon and my wife the salmon) and they were both incredible! We also had the truffle fries and they too were amazing. Breakfast the next morning proved to be equally impressive. Their banana french toast made my eyes roll back into my head. The only disappointment was on the second night when we had their burger. It was overcooked and served on a rustic roll, that seemed to amplify the lack of moisture. Service was always great at all our meals.

Overall, this is a very nice romantic hotel. It could be fantastic with just a little polish and attention to detail.

Room Tip: Get one overlooking the water.

Thank you for your recent review. Your honest appraisal is deeply appreciated...this is what helps us understand how we are really doing....

We are delighted that you enjoyed the room and the amenities. We especially appreciate that such a well traveled guest would provide high marks to our culinary team. We are fully committed to our farmers, fisheries and local artisans and that, though sometimes a challenge, allows us to be creative and really walk the talk about our dining opportunity. We will take a look at the burger...perhaps the bun needs to be modified - it is from a local bakery and they will work with us to change it up as we determine...so - thanks for that insight.

We do hope to see you again soon and are delighted that you added us to your list of travels. Until then, CHEERS!

Nice, clean, staff friendly enough but are not overly pleasant, informative, caring. We brought movies and ask for a DVD player, they could not find the cords for connection in the back, they just looked in a shelve and say sorry we don't have it. I guess it is the only nice place around and they do plenty of business , but I will not recommend it as the customer service is not friendly enough for my standards.

Thank you for making the time to share your impressions with us. We are very sorry to learn of your disappointment - and especially that you didn't feel that we were friendly. Our team strives to provide outstanding service to our guests - and it appears we failed to extend that to you - or that we left you with that impression. Our rooms are not equipped with DVD players (we have one to offer on a first come/first serve basis)- we find most of our guests are traveling with their computers these days and have not invested in this amenity, so our apology if that was your expectation. We do plan on upgrading our in room movie offerings in the next year and hope that will provide the service you anticipated. Thanks again for making us aware and we do hope you'll give us another try down the road. Until then, safe and happy travels.
