“Perfect spot for a golf holiday”
Reviewed 10 August 2013

My husband and I had a wonderful four days at the Inn with three other couples. The Inn totally lived up to all the positive reviews on this site. We golfed at McCormick Woods, Gold Mountain and Trophy Lake. The golf was great at all three courses. If anyone is looking for the ideal place to go for a golf holiday, I would say they need look no further than this Inn with the three golf courses that are great value and within 15 to 20 minutes of the Inn.
For those who want to shop, we really enjoyed the shops in Poulsbo, finding lots of interesting things that were a welcome difference from what you find in the standard franchise stores. We also really enjoyed taking the little ferry (15 minute walk from the Cedar Cove Inn) to Bremerton for a delicious dinner.
We felt very pampered while we stayed at the Inn and we are all looking forward to returning.

We were there during an unusual hot spell, so the lack of air conditioning, and the fact that our room got the afternoon sun, which did impact us, may not be a concern for most. There were two small portable fans put in the room. Our room, on the top floor, had a nice view of the bay and across to Bremerton, including the decommissioned aircraft carriers. Bed was comfortable. Our room had no Wi-Fi reception, which we were advised about when checking in (we used our computer downstairs), so if this is a concern, ask in advance. Cell phone coverage was fine.

Breakfasts were good, though tended to be on the sweet side (e.g., pancakes with syrup) and usually had pork meat. If you want something different, however, they will strive to accommodate you.

It's a bit of a walk down to the town itself, but not burdensome. Do be careful if you use GPS to get to the inn: the inn is at the top end of Seattle Street, and ours tried to take us up the hill from the town (the street stops so it's not physically impossible). Only sound I recall was the daily morning and evening revile (?) and Star Spangled Banner from the Navy base in Bremerton.

This is not the very fanciest place we've ever stayed in, but it was nice, and the price was very reasonable.

The family all came together in Port Orchard for our Nephew's High School graduation. We spent two nights here and it was perfect! Even the weather cooperated - not sure how they pulled that off in June! The beds were very comfortable, the rooms (each with its own bath) were large quiet. The kitchen has two large refrigerators and a great stove and there is a good BBQ just off the kitchen. The dining room sat 16 easily and there were three additional rooms to congregate (one with piano!) and the wrap around terraces were perfect for hanging out day and night. The gardens are beautiful and worthy of a dedicated browse of all the flowers and there is croquet available if you're so inclined. Plenty of parking. An incredibly well maintained property!

Room Tip: We had the entire house - so looking at all the rooms they all seemed pretty big and all had great v...

Cedar Cove Inn has got to be one of the most beautiful Inns in Washington! 180 degree views coupled with tasteful decor and the best breakfast in town make this a must for my company's lodging needs on the Peninsula. We also have held team offsites here, and they were fantastic. Gil and Kathy (the innkeepers) are delightful and so knowledgable about the area, and never intrusive- just the right amount of care and detail.

.We spent 3 nights at this B&B, and were charmed by the hosts and their incredibly successful efforts to restore this grand old home. No detail has been left undone. Inside and out, this place is exquisite! The gardens are lovely and obviously very carefully tended. Our room was more than we had anticipated. Bed was excellent, view of the snow-capped mountains was outstanding, and the warm, family-like atmosphere was deeply appreciated. The hosts are so welcoming. Made our time here very special

This is a beautiful B&B with great hosts. The house is beautiful with tons of windows and gorgeous woodwork. This inn is beautiful inside and out. Kathy made me a great breakfast with all the fixings. The views are awesome of the water and mountains, the sun was out for my whole visit!!!!!!! Since I was the only one there, Kathy gave me the "Debbie Macomber highlight tour". Debbie was not in town during my visit but seeing some of the inspirational spots were fun. If you are in good shape, you can walk to town, the return trip has a big hill, thus a great view of everything from the inn.

Room Tip: There is an elevator but it doesn't go to the top floor. My suitcase was very heavy so I am glad...

I got married here and it was perfect! The beautifully lanscaped lawn and breath taking view provided the perfect backdrop for our wedding. The inn was very clean and well decorated. Gil and Kathy are very warm and friendly. All of my guests loved the inn and several want to go back. This is the premire place in Kitsap county to say "I do!"
