“A Great Little Winery on the Way to Olympic”
Reviewed 26 May 2012

We enjoyed tasting a good variety of Olympic's wines, and liked several of them. It was a great way to spend a rainy afternoon.

“Olympic Cellars is not worth stopping”
Reviewed 22 August 2009

We had a group to stop for wine tasting at Olympic Cellars and I must say after having stopped at many wineries this is the only one that I can say no one bought a bottle of wine and we all walked out thinking we were bothering them. The wine was only fair and I would have thought you would be very friendly if you worked at a winery that made average wine but this one they were not ...they went to the same grumpy school as the lady at the bed and breakfast in Port Townsend and the girl in the Ice Cream shop. I would try another winery before stopping at this one. Or better yet go to one of the Lavender farms they were very beautiful.

“Wine Touring Day Trip from Seattle”
Reviewed 8 April 2008

This is a fantastic trip for anyone that want to taste some great Washington Wines and see pristine scenery at the same time.
We took a state ferry from downtown, that in itself was a spectacular trip then headed up Bainbridge Island and followed the highway signs to Port Angeles. Got to cross the longest floating bridge in the world and ended up in a world of towering trees, beautiful shoreline and quaint towns. We recommend going as far west as you can and heading back to the east vising all seven of these great little family run wineries. There is something for everyone. Visits in these tasting rooms was with the winemakers for the most part and everyone was friendly and glad to see us. We ended up in Porrt Townsend and had a great dinner before heading back. We will spend the night next time and get to see other things like the beach and mountains of Olympic National Park. We bought 2-3 bottles at each winery and brought home 2 cases of great wines that we can share with our friends. Can't find these wines anywhere else so it was a real special trip. We will go back soon.
