“Not to miss in Port Townsend!”
Reviewed 6 April 2014

Love this neighborhood bistro and the locals do too. The atmosphere and food remind me of being in a Parisian cafe, with a little bit of Port Townsend funky mixed in. I absolutely love the salade au lardon with poached egg, the pomme frittes and steak au poivre are to die for (I'll take Laurette's over anything in Paris)

Port Townsend is blessed with many foody restaurants; service is the differentiator and Sweet Laurette's wait staff have them all beat. Food and service are consistently great! I like to go here every time I'm in Port Townsend!

“Amazing Food!”
Reviewed 21 March 2014

The food was delicious and the setting was very romantic. Not too loud. Generous portions - no room for dessert! Would eat there again. Definitely make reservations - better seats.

“French inspired food and atmosphere - Delightful!”
Reviewed 19 March 2014 via mobile

Start with fresh local ingredients, add a love of the flavor and aesthetics of food and a skilled and dedicated staff, and you have Laurette's. We go whenever we can for special occasions or just a night out. They also have a way with wine and we always enjoy their selections. It is our favorite restaurant in Port Townsend.

“Awesome”
Reviewed 15 March 2014

Such a cute place. We waited for a bit to get our order taken but it was worth it. Food was great. They accommodated our dietary restrictions really nicely. The food was very delicious -- there is some dish called Farmer's Market something which we got with tofu instead of eggs. We also got granola which was so good and we even bought some of their homemade granola to take home with us. They had oatmeal which was delicious and a yogurt parfait fruits which also got rave reviews from us.

“Terrible”
Reviewed 9 March 2014

Went on our final day in PT back in October. After reading the reviews we were looking forward to trying it. My Croque Madame was greasy and tasted like the grill it was cooked on hadn't been cleaned. I had to take it apart to eat the insides as the bread was inedible. My husband's Carhartt Breakfast was also not good...the "griddled" potatoes were deep fried and cold and the eggs were not cooked properly. Our young male server was dour and could barely crack a smile. The only good part of the whole experience was the friendly barista on the coffee bar side who greeted us coming and going...should have sat over there, eaten a muffin and coffee, and saved ourselves 30 bucks.
