We have eaten at Elmer's all over the place, but did not have one near us unless we were headed to SeaTac. We are ecstatic. The German pancake is simply the best breakfast on the planet. We look forward to planning our trips so we can eat there as often as possible.

We were happy to see that the Taprock was now an Elmer's, since my parents are big fans of the Elmer's in Couer d'Alene and Vancouver. The menu is much better than Taprock's (even though we have heard they are owned by the same company) and prices are better. We've only been there for breakfast so far, but it's good to have a reliably decent place for breakfast in Poulsbo. Service was great and our waitress was very nice.

Please don't go here you will only crowd the place and I won't be able to get in. Kidding this is the place to enjoy a meal at anytime you like a very good place to eat with your family.

There's a first time and a last time! The hostess and the man on the cash register were distant and almost surly. Our waitress, Briana S., was pleasant but inexperienced (she will get better).
The food was poor at best. The salmon was dry and the vegetables on the plate were withered and cold, I'm sure the plate sat under the light for quite some time. My wife had the fish and chips. The cod was rubbery. Well, they say you should not order sea food at a place more than 300 miles from the sea. This place is about one mile from the bay. The best part of the meal was the clam chowder (Ivar's from a can) and the cheese cake (probably from Costco).
This place was much, much better when it was Taprock. It's getting hard to find good food in Poulsbo but Silverdale isn't that far away.

We have been to Elmer's many times. We may have waited a bit to be seated but well worth it. The service is fabulous and the food is like home cooked. We will continue to return.
