"We are always trying to improve our guests stays. We read and reply to all reviews because we care."

Just one of the comments from the manager from a semi-negative review. However, the review was from someone who stayed in 2009, two years later, nothing has changed.

My husband and I had stopped at Lake Quinault after two long days of camping and driving. The customer service front desk let us know they had a room with a great view of the lake. However, it was on the first floor, so we had a view of the cars that parked in the lot, in front of the lake. Also, if you stay, request the second floor. I believe the view could have been better, but really, you wont have anyone stomping in the room above you.

We really just needed a place to shower, and rest (watch a bit of tv, yes:)) As one, review reads, the room is visually "retro". However, it was really kind of dumpy (older mis-matched furnishings, with terribly old comforter and pillow set). The tv was out of date, and the picture only came in pink and blue. I am really only mentioning the tv, because hopefully for the $116.97 that we paid for the room, the tv can be replaced one day soon.

The shower was great after a long trip. The view was great from across the road. The facilities have a coin-op laundry room which is nice. We didn't eat at the resort village, but went to the Lake Quinault Lodge and had a fantastic dinner.

Again, hopefully, the money spent here will go to future improvements.

The area is beautiful and RFRV suffers by comparison with the Lake Quinault Lodge nearby. You can spend your time in the cabins very comfortably.

We loved everything about this location. The lake is beautiful, and there are tons of great trails. So quiet and tranquil, especially compared to the hustle and bustled of Hoh. The people at the front desk were very friendly and enthusiastic and gave us a lot of info about the area. we had a first floor motel unit and while it wasn't luxurious, it was clean with a comfortable bed--a great value for the price. We also walked down to the beautiful Lake Quinault Resort for a delicious dinner and to rent kayaks. Quinault was definitely one of the best parts of our trip!

We stayed here two days and couldn't ask for more. Located right across the street from the lake. Our plans changed at the last minute and they did everything they could to help us out. Rates are resonable for the area.
Hiking is great and boat rental just down the street. We stayed in both the Studio and the Village Inn. We would stay there again.

Room Tip: Village Inn has great view of lake. Entrance doors in both rooms.

We upgraded from a motel room to a cabin with a view (number eighteen) and I loved it. It was built a long time ago when wood paneling was actually cut from large trees. It had a electric fireplace and little kitchen and looked out on the lake.

The people in the store were very helpful, and we had a nice dinner of salmon and oysters at the Salmon Restaurant which is in walking distance. We also picked up on their free Wifi from our cabin!

In the morning we joined multiple families on walks around the grounds and to the giant spruce tree.

We then went to the historical Lake Quinault Lodge for a nice breakfast with espresso.

We stayed in the "Village Inn." The room was nice for us with children because it had two rooms, but they were small rooms with the queen size bed in each taking a lot of space. It was just fine for one night, a week's stay might get a little cramped. It's an old building but everything was in pretty good shape, nice new pillow-top mattresses. New tub, shower and bathroom floor but the rest was original. It was all clean and everything worked but an interesting "retro" look. Nice view of the lake from our room.
