Our family of 4 (2 adults, 1 eight month old, 1 two year old) loved this hotel. We didn't really care about location so we have no comment on that. It is close to the highway and near a flight path. We cousing even hear the highway when we were outside in the parking lot. We could hear the planes but they weren't loud enough to disrupt sleep.
The hotel was very clean and the staff were very friendly.
I was really impressed with the breakfast selections. I thought everything tasted great and there were a lot of different options. I would recommend this hotel to really any age group. I would stay here again!

Larkspur Landing aspires to rank with Homewood Suites and the other big boys in the suites hotel game. So far, the property itself manages to measure up. The rooms are spacious, if cheaply furnished, and the room layout is very practical. The hotel is in a very quiet area five minutes from a major shopping mall and the I-5 corridor. And it has some nice amenities--the major one being a well-equipped guest laundry with free washers and dryers. My wife and I spent four nights there in July 2014, and our impression is that the hotel primarily serves business types who need to make an extended stay.

Problems arise in service. For instance, two days after we arrived, I started to make coffee in the room, only to find an old packet of coffee still in the coffee maker--along with some very cold coffee in the carafe. And we noticed other little things about housekeeping. My wife is in the habit of throwing her disposable contact lenses away randomly at bedtime. We found one of her blue-tinted lenses on the very white duvet the next afternoon. These are indications that cleaning is not at all thorough. Also, don't count on a robust free breakfast--though the breakfast IS free. It's just the basics, and by that I mean a lot of carbs and sugar and very little that is sustaining or healthy.

Overall, I would only stay here again if I cannot find a good room at a better price. That's what drove us to Larkspur Landing in the first place. Having experienced it, I would say there again, in preference to a real fleabag motel, but I will explore the other options first.

I simply can't suggest the Larkspur hotel. Yes, the rooms are large - all suites but the quality of the place is fairly poor. Probably needs a fairly large refresh to bring it back to three star territory.

A few notes: AC did not work in both rooms - one very cold, one rather warm (only one thermostat); the "desk" area was something you wouldn't even want to sit at (see photo); had to call for bedding for the pull-out (took an hour); lobby/reception a bit awkward and not a smile to be found; breakfast was not much if you're used to something hot.

Great place to stay and very home like. breakfast could be improved some, love the rooms, very clean. The only thing I didn't like is if for some reason you have to cancel there is no refund and things do happen. Staff very friendly. Hot tub not like it looks in picture, very small and in remote place, Washing cloths is included in price. would stay again.

We have stayed at the Larkspur several times over the years since we have family in the area. The staff is always welcoming and professional, especially Kayla (front desk), Ravi (housekeeping), and Christopher (maintenance staff). To the general manager, Mr. Hughes, these wonderful staff members are exactly why we keep coming back.

This hotel is an all suite hotel with large 2 room suites. The room was very comfortable and quite. The hotel itself is nice and the people are great. The breakfast may have been a little light, but it was good. The hotel is located south of Seattle, but close to a great area called "The Landing". There are enough restaurants and shops to satisfy everyone. Highly recommend this hotel, why maybe a little pricey one needs to remember you are close to both the airport and downtown Seattle, thus prices are a little higher.

We were here for an overnight stay. We had 4 rooms, from a studio to the largest suite. We all liked our rooms, they were all clean, and the staff was very nice. The staff was accommodating, especially Kayla. We got there early after leaving our cruise ship, but she was able to give us 3 rooms so we were able to put our bags away. When we returned in the afternoon, they had warm cookies on the counter. YUM! We were not able to go to breakfast as our flights left before the kitchen opened up. Overall nice experience.
