“Yes, One of the Best!”
Reviewed 21 June 2014

walked here yesterday with a friend...even though the weather was not as warm as predicted (are we ever surprised at that?) still it was MOST enjoyable! We come here often...and will continue to come. Fun to watch for the animals and beautiful as seasons change! so nice to have a waterfront park so close.

“A little bit of it all, including the crowds!”
Reviewed 28 May 2014

This park has it all: waterfront views, paved walking paths, green space, tennis courts, basketball courts, swimming area, boat launch, on-site restaurants, indoor restroom facilities and picnic shelters. It is also conveniently located about a half-mile from The Landing shopping area, which provides you with additional places to grab a bite to eat or acquire some new sporting goods to use at the park. Since this park is so great, it is also always VERY crowded on nice days, especially in the summer months. If you plan to spend the day here and want to guarantee a parking space, plan to arrive early. If you're just looking for a leisurely stroll along the waterfront, I suggest waiting until after 7 pm when most of the crowds have gone home for the day. The nice thing is you really have it all at your fingertips, so you really can spend the whole day here!

“Walking the Gene Coulon Park Trail”
Reviewed 27 May 2014

My wife and I enjoy walking the trail year round. It's about 2 miles 1 way. Be sure to walk out onto the pier. If you're hungry when you get back, try Ivar's or Kid Valley. Kid Valley has one of the best hamburgers around. The park is along Lk WA so the sights of Mercer Island and the Seattle skyline is pretty good.

Nice place for a leisurely stroll after work during the summertime. Parking can be a huge hassle though.

“Beautiful park with lots of places to walk and picnic”
Reviewed 17 April 2014

We love everything about Coulon Park, the trails, the docks to walk on and the restaurant's. There's and Ivar's Fish Bar and a Kid Valley Burgers. This is a great place to go during Christmas holiday since the place is all light up and even has the Clam Lights. There is a big celebration on the 4th of July and fireworks at night. There is a nice swim beach and playground for the kids. There is also a boat launch at the park. The only drawback to the park is no dogs allowed. We would love to walk our little dog there.
