I give this an average, since this particular Hilton offers a very average package. However, that being said, I think it is one of the better options at Sea-Tac airport.

First of all you don't have to use the bus to get to the airport. You can actually walk there, though there are elevators and exterior walks to do so. There are exceedingly quiet rooms to be had. The staff was gracious and accommodating.

Now the negatives are that the rooms are approaching that tired stage, and the restaurant is not all that hot.

First off, the hotel atmosphere is nice except for the layout that would leave the best labyrinth designer shaking his head. Don't ask any employees for anything tho unless you want to wait around for nothing. I'm talking 5 min to turn some dimes and nickels into a couple dollars of quarters. There is starbucks coffee in the lobby and it is more expensive than any actual starbucks location. Good luck

We arrived early at the hotel and were pleasantly surprised that we were provided with our room without delay. The member of staff couldn't have been more pleasant or helpful and didn't charge us for booking in early. Room was clean and spacious and all staff were very pleasant. We were only staying 1 night.

There is a free shuttle to and from the local shopping mall, which was very good. Overall, this part of our holiday was excellent.

On our return journey we again used this hotel. How different! Same member of staff. Not pleasant - very sharp, and did ask for extra for booking in early, and argued with us that she did previously charge us. If an early booking in fee is normal, that's OK, but it would be good if it was consistent!

Room Tip: Both rooms were good, but if you have mobility problems, some of the rooms are a distance from the l...

A few weeks ago we stayed in the SEATAC area and stayed at the DoubleTree. After a not so memorable stay there, we decided to stay at the Hilton down the street. Glad we switched. The Hilton is a lot newer by about 20 years. The restaurant is much nicer, as is the lobby, bar area, pool, and rooms. We loved the room with two king beds near the pool. Great if you have kids.
One issue we had with this hotel is there seemed to never be any more than one person at the front desk at any one time, even during the busy check-in and check-out times. Since they do not have a Hilton Honors dedicated check-in (which we found odd), we had to wait in line for way too long.
The second odd feature or lack of a feature at this hotel is it has no movies on demand. This was way too stranger since even Motel 6 has movies on demand. Makes for some really boring nights, especially if you travel with kids and are used to Hiltons having them.
A few people complained about the strange layout of this hotel and parking being "so far away". We found neither to be an issue.
If you want to stay at a Hilton property near the airport, pick this property over the DoubleTree.

Room Tip: Two Kings by the pool. Easy access right out of your room to the pool.

We have stayed here several times and each time is great. We went up Sunday and paid $55 extra for a 5 pm checkout and left Monday evening so we essentially had two days for the price of one. The whole reason we headed up there for a personal trip vs. the usual business trips was for the pool. It is a lovely outdoor pool in a pretty courtyard. The only thing they could do to make it better would be to take room service orders out on the pool. They have poolside rooms that have a door that opens directly out to a patio and from there it's only a few steps to the pool. It was very convenient and lovely to have.

We ordered room service twice, sometimes ordering the same thing (crab cakes and the too tall carrot cake). There was consistency in the taste and quality of all of our food. The crab cakes are so delicious, I crave them when I'm at home. They are served with a whole grain sauce that is to die for.

We have dined at Spencers (the in house restaurant) before and it is a bit spendy. However the quality is great and the taste of the food even better.

We will return whether it be for business or personal.

First, I want to list the "goods" because it is a very nice hotel. The hotel is in good condition and the rooms are great. Very comfortable beds and quiet rooms. Bathrooms are well done with good amenities. There are a couple very nice and quiet outdoor courtyards to relax and make phone calls which create a very nice and tranquil setting, especially when so close to the airport. There is a very nice gym and a great outdoor pool and spa. The staff at this hotel was excellent.

The only downside to this hotel is the layout. Whoever designed it should be shot. When they built the buildings, they didn't connect them, so when you park your car you can't just go in the back door and up the elevator if you are staying in the front building, since they didn't connect the buildings. You have to walk all the way to the lobby then up which is the worst design ever. If you don't like walking, make sure to use valet! I would recommend this hotel 100% though. The food in Spencers is also wonderful!!

Room Tip: I would choose an interior facing room towards the inner courtyard. Very pretty!

Chemical smell in first room bad, changed to another with less chemical smell. The next day I changed to a third room that was fresh but the toilet was running intermittently and engineering took two visits to fix. Room is surprisingly quiet and bed is comfortable. Restaurant is very expensive but food is good and there is not good options for light, inexpensive meals unless you walk to restaurants away from hotel. A Thai restaurant Mango Thai about 4 blocks away was excellent. Service in the bar and restaurant varied from being generally ignored to excellent. The shuttle to mall arrived at same time as the Hilton shuttle left and I inadvertently got on the wrong shuttle and almost missed my flight!! Follow your luggage to the correct one.
