Established in 1896 and now under the capable direction of Husband and Wife team David Campich and Laurie Anderson, my friend and I enjoyed a lovely, leisurely lunch out on their shaded patio. We had a delicious tomato-blue cheese soup, a very fresh salmon filet sandwich on a brioche bun and crab-razor clam cakes.
Although the dessert offerings were very tempting, we did not splurge. Service was attentive and well-versed.
This pub was a welcome destination which rose well above other restaurants in the area.
