We arrived at the Lodge late at night after watching sunset at Hurricane Ridge.
The owner was waiting for us. He upgraded my parents' room to a beautiful, quiet, large
and very comfortable room for free. My parents rested very well. They were very impressed by the quality of service they received. The room my husband and I got was a regular one. Simple, clean and quiet. It also has microwave, hairdryer, coffee maker, all the things needed. The Lodge has a beautiful backyard, with picnic tables and a short walking path.
Definitely would go back!

Stayed 6 nites after a 3 day road trip from O'side, CA to Sequim to spend time with family & explore sights. We stayed in rm 101, fireplace suite, enjoyed the peace & quiet and comfortable lodging. Owners Yong & Yang were right on spot when ever we requested extra bath towels & coffee, the coffee was the best we had on our whole road trip. Enjoyed their continental breakfest each morning, always very clean around service area. We would love to go back and have told family & friends of our wonderful stay at Sequim Bay Lodge.

Room Tip: 101 is an end ,downstairs, unit so we were pleased with privacy.

What a quaint and cozy little place. We were party of a large wedding party that stayed here this past weekend. We were well taken care of by the staff, and had everything that we needed in our room. It was a nice place to retreat back to after all the hustle and bustle of the wedding festivities. I found our room to be clean and spacious, nice and simple.

Yes, the Sequim Bay Lodge might not be as updated as the Holiday Inn further in town, but the gorgeous setting and peaceful surroundings totally make up for it! The staff were eager to please and were great about accommodating my group's needs even though it was a busy time because of the Lavender Festival that was going on in Sequim.

We found this on Yelp drivng down the road. Everyone was booked or wanted $150 a night. Even the crappy ones! This place was $80 and is clean and quiet. For the money it was a good find as we were just about to just drive home to Tacoma

This hotel is obviously in a financial quagmire and soon to go out of
business! Don't be fooled by the website photos----probobly from years
ago......not even a pad and pencil near the phone, TV was an old relic,
no shampoo in the bathroom, hadn't been thoroughly cleaned for a long
time, rotting garbage in a nearby outside can that had been there for several
days, linens either poorly laundered or not washed at all, our non-smoking
room reeked of nicotine.......Asian man at the front desk during check-out
couldn't communicate with us and really didn't give a hoot-----ripped off for
$110 per night----this rapidly deteriorating and seedy place is going out of
the hotel picture real soon! Dixie C

We very much appreciate your feedback and we are already working toward many of the improvements mentioned in this review.

At the end of last year, the previous owners of this hotel went through a foreclosure. Since January, it has been under new management and they are in the beginning stages of new construction, landscaping, and of course- updating the rooms. They declined to begin these projects during the summer months as not to be a larger hindrance to our valued guests. Summer is a very busy time here on the Peninsula. I am sure many people are unaware of the ownership change and we always appreciate the opportunity to take care of any complaints or requests during your stay.

We are hoping to, over the coming year, gradually bring this hotel and property up to date. We strive to provide a quality stay for everyone, next time please do not hesitate to call the front desk during your stay to ask questions or request a specific item. As for the property itself, they are working hard to restore it to its former glory. :) Thank you again!

Nice quiet location, just a couple of minutes east of Sequim. Large property with no other civilization in sight, other than the road and a building across the road. Room (2 queens) was bigger than expected. Very friendly and helpful staff.

Thank you for the compliments, we always like to hear the things that went well for our guests. While even constructive criticism is good, hearing something good make it worth the work for the staff so thank you!
