We were tired; all motels we saw on the Internet were over $100 easy. My husband saw the billboard saying "Best Price In Town"; that got our interest as our goal was Port Angeles. It was under $88 total, quiet, clean, and looked well loved. Their continental breakfast was Costco products so it was a step up from others in taste. If in the area again I most definitely would stay where I felt welcomed and cared for.

We rented a room here for one night with a private hot tub on the balcony. It was indeed a little run down but its apparent that the owners are trying to fix up something that was in ruins. Cheaper then most of the hotels in the area. When checking in My husband overheard a conversation with the owner and a caller. The owner told the caller that he had one room left for the night but it had an odd smell that they couldnt get out of the room. If they wanted the room they could have it for $75 when all the other rooms in the area were going for almost $200. But the owners are nice, the room was clean and I would stay again.

Wife found property online seeking close proximity to 7-Cedars after a day hiking around Olympic Forest. At $79 a night I was skeptical. But not bad for the price. As stated previously the property is a bit tired and in need of updating. The room itself was roomy and spartan. Odd lighting, no soap, kleenex dispenser fell off of support bracket. The bed, sheets, blankets, towels, etc are old. Could hear people upstairs walking around at 2:00am. But I've spent more for worse places. It was clean, everything worked. No funky smells. Had a microwave and refrigerator/freezer. Since we weren't seeking a resort experience, just a comfortable place to crash after a day of hiking and gambling, it was a fine value. Would probably stay again. Has a pool. Didn't stay for the continental breakfast but looked like the usual cheap motel fare.

Stayed here in August 2013 for two days while touring the Olympic Pennsula on motorcycles. It is an old Best Western and the new owners are working to update the property. Very pretty location but a little out of the way. No eatery within walking distance. No problem if you are in a car. Rooms were large and clean. Choose the back rooms to get away from the highway. Compared to the room cost in Sequium and Port Angeles the prices were very reasonable.

The one good thing about this room was it had great water pressure in the shower. The mattress was HARD and misshapen. The lighting was inadequate and poorly placed. The walls were filthy. The room smelled musty. The towels were scratchy and paper thin. The smoke detector is just hanging from the ceiling. How difficult would it be to fix that problem? The walls are thin. The shampoo is cheap. The TV is ancient.

We stayed here, because we have 2 dogs. We had to pay $10/night per dog to stay in a room that smelled like pee. The staff new this and when we told the front desk they didn't offer to let us change rooms or for a discount. It was clear some previous dog had peed and there were stains all over the carpet. The location is ok, the price would've been fine had the room been clean. The people beside us left their great dane unattended so we had to listen to him bark, and the kids at the pool were loud most of the evening. Location was pretty convenient just SE of the city center right on 101. It's a place that's past its prime and needs upgrades. They do offer a continental breakfast.

I would stay here again. The owners are working to fix up the exterior, but as another reviewer indicated do not let the exterior stop you from staying here. The rooms are spacious, clean and the bed was very comfortable. I stayed here for 5 nights and slept great. The breakfast was muffins, granola bars, cookies, coffee, juice and bananas which was sufficient. If you want anything else there are plenty of restaurants in Sequim that serve LARGE portions. The owners are delightful and working hard to make changes.
