Nice enough, extremely clean and close to all the great activities the local Lavendar Festival offers. As all lodgings in the area do, rates go up during the festival. This location was "reasonable". My granddaughter loved the pool after a long day of family and flowers!

I stayed at the Sequim Bay Lodge for a night, and unfortunately, left my laptop in the hotel room when I departed. I called them up at 12am and the owner was very understanding of my plight. He was very trustworthy and kept my laptop safely with him, and also helped to ship it back to my country of origin in Asia. Immensely grateful!

We opted for the King Suite ($65) and were very pleased with the size of the room. The suite is in the front building, but since it was March, there wasn't much road noise and the view is better. The owners are friendly and seem to be working hard to maintain the place and make improvements as finances permit. The furnishings were worn, but everything was clean. I think we got the same suite as another reviewer and I am happy to report that a heater has been added to the front room. The temp in both rooms was nice and toasty for our two-night stay. The uncomfortable futon was still there. The continental breakfast was decent, nothing special. While the grounds were somewhat overgrown in places, I found it to be a beautiful, peaceful setting. We liked the driftwood placed on the fence posts lining the driveway.

We will definitely return.

We've stayed here two times in the past year because of proximity to the 7 Cedars Casino. This is on old Best Western that has gone back to the earth. The ownership is Korean and they have obviously a limited budget when it comes to landscape and amenities.

The rooms are large by today's standards at this price point however they are spartan. Don't expect luxury in any form... you'll get paper thin walls where EVERYTHING is heard, towels that are little more than Brawny Paper Towels, sheets of low quality and carpets/drapes that were old 10 years ago

The grounds are a through back to the jungles of "Viet Nam" as they have gotten no landscape attention / extremely overgrown and are an eyesore.

We will come back to this site because..... It's cheap..!, the management is friendly and cooperative to most requests, they seem to have availability when we wanted it and the rooms have been "CLEAN" ...the conditions are tolerable.. as long as you know before you get there !
Oh yea... did I mention its' close to the Casino ?

Room Tip: I'd go for the "Hot Tub" room on the next trip... $140.00 but it sounds on here like a...

We had a much needed break from home for a night/closest hotel to the seven cedars casino.
Its a few minutes from Sequim and about 35 minutes from Port Townsend
Both are great places to visit,it went way to fast and if not for moving would have stayed an extra night.
The hotel grounds look a bit over grown but they are working on it and the rooms were quiet and clean....thats what i like in a room
Pool is open June 15th so we did not get a chance to use it

It was cheap, quiet, no frills. Had a 2nd floor room with views of the mountains. The breakfast is not so great. Long walk to the lobby and far off the road, which makes it quiet. It's far away from everything so you have to drive.

The motel is about 4 miles east of Sequim, about a mile from the John Wayne Marina (beautiful water views), less than 1/2 mile from the state park, and a couple of miles from the casino. It's a good location. The motel is a little on the older side, but is so reasonably priced that a little exterior wear and tear can be overlooked. We had a king suite ($65+tax AARP rate in early Oct.). It was very large, easily the size of two normal motel rooms. The sitting room had a futon, a desk, TV, and a kitchen counter with sink, micro, and small fridge. The furnishings are a bit sparse as is the wall decor. The futon cushion was very thin and uncomfortable. A sofa is needed. The bedroom was more nicely appointed and the bed was comfortable; we slept well. One other complaint in addition to the futon is that the heating/air unit is in the bedroom only. The only way to heat the sitting area was by cranking up the heat in the bedroom and waiting for it to carry over into the sitting area. There should be a heating/air unit in the sitting area too. I register the complaints so that readers know what to expect. It's not the Ritz, but seriously, a nice big room for $65 these days?? I can put up with a few bummers. We'd stay here again.
