“Cleanest RV Park Ever”
Reviewed 12 September 2013

This has to be one of the cleanest RV Parks ever. Each space has an immaculate lawn next to a perfectly flat paved space. The grassy "dog run" is clean and inviting and there are bags to clean up with. The showers and "public bathroom" area is also spotless. Wi-Fi works well and there is a DSL connection at each site if you want it.. Very quiet, Downtown Sequim is a 10 min walk way. There is a large supermarket across the street. The park is far enough the main road that there is no traffic noise. There are only 28 spaces (some are pull though) so the feeling is intimate. This place is in demand, and for good reason, so make your reservations early. .

My husband and I have been on an extended RV road trip through CA, OR, WA and into British Columbia and Gilgal is the cleanest, best equipped, most accommodating RV park we've encountered. We were only there one night, right before Labor Day weekend, and decided to come back for 3 more days after the weekend spent in BC. The hosts are real hosts--friendly, helpful, lots of insight into how to navigate to attractions. The park is small, but a gem. The laundry room not only had a library of books to choose from, but an ironing board and iron!! That was a first on our travels!

I highly recommend this park to anyone--affordable, close to everything and the hosts make all the difference

Beginning in June 2013 we began a long RV trip which included a trip to Olympic National Park and Victoria B.C. On the recommendation of friends and former Washington State residents we were told that we had to stay in the beautiful town of Sequim. They were right!!! We found Gilgal Oasis RV Park on line and made a recommendation based on ratings.

I called to change my reservation at least three times and each time the staff were amazingly friendly and helpful, working with me 100%. On this trip we'd traveled through Nevada, California, Oregon, and the better part of Washington and had stayed at several RV parks - none of the staff at any of the other parks came close to being this friendly or helpful (and we met plenty of nice people!), nor was any park nearly as nice. I was helped by Beth and Susan (and I'm sorry - another lady who was equally helpful, but I can't recall her name :( ) and their customer service was second to none.

This was one of the best parks, if not the best, that we've been to and we've been doing this a long time- we've stayed at RV parks and Campgrounds around the entire western U.S. We had adequate space between our RV and those next to us (a little more would have been better, but its never enough at an RV park), but our neighbors were great - no problems at all (I'm sure they must keep the riff raff out somehow) - the park was on the smaller side - maybe 20-30 spaces, so we could not extend our stay as they were booked - that was the only downside.

The facilities are spotless and they recycle! The laundry room was nice and clean, a complimentary continental breakfast one Saturday morning was really appreciated as we were in a hurry to leave the park early to go to the NP, they have a great little lending library with books, games and puzzles, and a nice dog area...speaking of dogs - I was THRILLED to learn that for a very small fee they would feed and walk my dog when we were gone all day in Victoria B.C. - that sure took the stress out of the day knowing the pooch was taken care of and we were able to see and do a lot that day as we took the early ferry there and the late ferry back (Port Angeles) - Gilgal has a great selection of pamphlets and information on things to see and do in the area (there are also lots of deals on Groupon) -we were fortunate to arrive during the Lavender harvest!

There is a BEAUTIFUL view of Hurricane Ridge (Olympic NP) from the park (lovely sunsets). We followed several recommendations of the staff which helped us fill our few short days in the area with a good mix of things to see and do. The staff were very enthusiastic about the area and ensured that we had the best possible experience.

We'll definitely come back to this area and this RV park, but next time will be for at least a few weeks if not longer - there is so much to see and do - we couldn't cover it all in the few days we had. Don't forget Olympic N.P., including the amazing Sol Duc Hot Springs located in the park, and of course Victoria B.C.

Thank you Gilgal Oasis!

We stayed in this park for four days and the owners were very nice and helpful. The Hosts take a lot of pride in their work and the tone is one of "family". I could see myself staying a month or so and not feeling I was in a small, tight park. Dog path is immaculate, paved sites are flat (you will be asked to put blocks under your jacks), grass is full and green and the other facilities are excellent. We paid $36 as night and had full services. They offer a high speed cable free ($20 returnable deposit for the cable if you do not have one). I suggest you take the offer as the regular cable is poor. Without the option for free high speed I would drop the rating to four. 14 miles from the Pt Angeles Ferry and 34 miles to Hurricane Ridge.

There are only 28 spaces, but it's the cleanest and friendliest RV park we've seen in nearly two years of full-timing. The hosts are accommodating, the owners pay close attention to details, the laundry and showers are immaculate, landscaping well maintained and it's less that 1/2 mile to the center of Sequim. No pool or other fancy resort amenities but it's not missed. Highly recommended!

Room Tip: All sites are good - many are pull-throughs.

This is definitely one of the nicest and cleanest campgrounds we have ever stayed at. This is our second time back and certainly not our last. Even though it is situated off the main drag, it is very quite and sleeping is great. The sites are level, with nice grass areas between and picnic tables. They have a laundry room which is spotless and showers should you need them that are decorated so beautifully, that even it you do not need them, go in and see them. The office/volunteers are great and obviously enjoy working here since they are always smiling. The view of the mountain is really great on sunny days. Highly recommend this campground.

This is a small park located in downtown Sequim. Its 28 spaces are well laid out and well landscaped. The clubhouse and facilities are clean and modern. I think long term residents share time acting as hosts and it is one of the friendliest parks I have been in. Although compact, each site has a grass lawn, a tree, a cement pad for the picnic table. Wifi is available near the office, but ethernet cables are supplied for those who need them, along with help setting them up -- and .help with parking and any other help needed. Special events are open to long term residents and transients alike. We came for one night and stayed for four. There is plenty of parking for tow vehicles.

Room Tip: Really big rigs park in the back row. Wifi reaches out fine across from the office.
