Thank you so much for the wonderful stay. We were Berta’s guests for 6 days while we explored Sequim as a possible retirement home. The accommodations were wonderful and the breakfasts just absolutely awesome. Berta is a wealth of information about the area and gave us dinner recommendations to the local restaurants and general information about Sequim. It is a wonderful place to live and in 20 months we are looking forward to making Sequim our home. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Sequim.

Once you meet Berta the owner, you will find a B&B that works hard to create comfort, calm, beauty and excellent breakfast. Berta is more than willing to share what she knows of the area or give you your space. Don't miss her artistry and spirit. A joy!

Room Tip: 1st floor room larger. 2nd floor room has easy access to Great Room

Spent two nights here with friends at the end of our trip. Wish we could have stayed a week! All the comforts of home and such a welcoming and friendly spot. The four of us had the whole house with a large lounge and bar. Lots of snacks and goodies to help ourselves to while we relaxed to a TV movie. Very comfortable beds and great views of numerous well kept flower gardens. Never before eaten such gourmet breakfasts. Fresh fruits and home made granola. Happened to mention the first day we were hoping to find Dungeness crabs! So what did Berta surprise us with for breakfast after our fruit and granola the next day - yes a wonderfully presented double portion of crab Benedict on two muffins - a taste to die for with sliced air loom tomatoes direct from her greenhouse and home fried potatoes. Want to eat gourmet breakfasts so filling you can't think of eating again until dinner time? Then go and experience a great place to hike, shop and relax at the end of your day. The town has great shops and wonderful restaurants. Even a Costco nearby! Shame you are so far away Berta but look forward to enjoying your B&B in the future.

Accommodations were impeccable. It was better than being at home. The breakfasts were outstanding(gourmet). We have stayed in many B & Bs, but this was the best. Beautiful gardens.

We've stayed in a lot of b&b's over the years, and this one takes the cake. So charming, gorgeous setting right on the beach, ever-so friendly owner, peaceful. Wish we could have stayed longer than the 2 days we did. We would go back if we were to plan another trip to that area. Food/breakfast was outstanding. The crab benedict was off the charts in my book.

Room Tip: We liked not having to climb stairs to the upstairs room, as there is one on the ground floor.

My husband and I spent three lovely days at this B&B and we echo the comments posted by everyone. The location is wonderful as a central base and after hiking and exploring all day it is wonderful to come home to such a relaxing and beautiful place. We agree that Berta has thought of so many "little" touches that will make your stay more comfortable. The upstairs public lounge area/living room has wonderful views - it was fun to watch the comings and goings on the Straight through the telescope. She has a bar with coffee/tea/cocoa plus several jars with snacks - pretzels, M&Ms, etc. We found ourselves skipping desert after dinner and coming back to the inn for some chocolate covered almonds instead! There are also games, cards, maps, travel guide books. There is a hot tub that we did not ask about but would be enjoyable after hiking Hurricane Ridge! Thank you Berta!!

I stayed at this wonderful location while in town for the wedding celebration of dear friends. What an absolutely fabulous, restful, quiet, clean, marvelous place to stay. I recommend it highly. Views are remarkable, breakfasts are to die for, and did I mention it was quiet? Berta is so gracious and the perfect hostess and great cook. You can tell by looking at the gardens, the 200 rose bushes and fountains, that she loves her outdoor spaces as much as the delightfully decorated interior spaces.
This is a must do stop and should be on the top of your bucket list!!!!!
