“Great steak!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 21 August 2013

My husband and I had dinner here the other night. I had the crab stuffed halibut, my husband had the skirt steak. Both were served with roasted potato wedges and fresh spinach. The halibut was good, but there was a lot of liquid on the plate. I had to move my potatoes to the edge of my plate to get them out of the liquid. Seems like the chef could drain the fish before it goes on the plate?! My husband absolutely LOVED his steak! He said it is one of the best steaks he has had in a long time! Good flavor, tender and cooked just right. We would definitely go back.

“Overpriced with decent service”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 19 August 2013

This is in a strip mall in downtown Sequim. Service was pretty good, but the food wasn't very good especially considering the price. It was about $45 for 2 meals without alcohol or dessert. Considering they're on the coast, the seafood wasn't very fresh or well prepared. I had the crab stuffed fish, and my husband had fried oysters. The potatoes on the side weren't very good, the fish was a bit dry, and overall it wasn't very impressive.

“Good food”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 18 August 2013

We went on a weeknight and restaurant was not busy. Premises is clean, but not much ambiance. It has three booths and the rest are tables in a relative simple atmosphere. We had excellent service and the meal was served in a relatively short time. The crab stuffed halibut and crab stuffed cod, severed with roasted potatoes and spinach were excellent.

“Completely Disappointing”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 17 August 2013

We were in Sequim on some quick shopping and decided to stop here for dinner. A coworker of mine had said she had eaten here twice, the first time magnificent, the second time not so much. We sat for 5 minutes waiting to be seated, no big deal, got to our table, gave our order within another five minutes, (fish and chips and smoked salmon fettuccini) and proceeded to sit for 50 minutes waiting for our meal. 50 minutes!! There were other patrons in the restaurant, I'd say it was roughly half filled, not packed by any means. The majority of the other patrons were also waiting for their food. We contemplated getting up and leaving, we should have. When the food was finally served, mine was lukewarm, watery and bland. Not kidding. The salmon was mushy and very unattractive looking. The fish and chips were oily, oily, oily. Two pieces were eaten, then it was determined that if he ate any more he would be sick. NOT GOOD. What made the evening even worse was the service. The young lady who was our waitress made no attempt at all to check on us during our nearly hour long wait. The only time she came to our table was to refill our water 45 minutes in, and say our food was almost ready.(In other words, we sat there for 45 minutes with no acknowledgment or interaction with our server. That is ridiculous.) Of course she has no control over what is going on in the kitchen, but it is her job to be the 'middle man' if you will between the kitchen and the customers. How about a little " I know you've been waiting quite a while, the chefs have your order, your food will be out shortly, can I bring you some bread while you wait, yada, yada, yada...anything from her would have made us feel at least acknowledged. Still wouldn't have helped the food, but it would have been something. Will never, never, go back.

“A Bit Slow, Decent Food, Not Kid Friendly”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 14 August 2013

It's not a bad place to eat, but we've got 4 kids and it wasn't exactly a kid friendly atmosphere. When we went, there was a limited menu, prices were in-line with what you'd pay in this region, but the food was pretty good. We figured we'd try the restaurant out, the waitress took sympathy on us and did her best to help us keep the kids entertained for a food wait time of over an hour. Even the manager stopped by the table more than once to assure us that our food order had indeed been placed. If you enjoy quiet conversation with a loved one & don't mind a wait, you'll love this place.
