Stopped in here with family for early dinner, happened to hit happy hour 4-5. Amazingly cute little place, great décor and ambiance. Wonderful fresh and unique menu, great drinks. Really friendly and helpful server. We all loved this place and will definitely go back next time we are in Sequim!

Visiting guests took us here for dinner. Ordered a bottle of local wine from the wine menu as we knew it was good and wanted to show off our local product. Not available and offered a Washington wine we could by at Costco. Owner explained they were changing their menu ? Had dusted calamari that was coated with a non gluten crust (could be just fine) but limp and uninspired. Fries were good.... The Seasonal Market Vegetable was a tiny dish with 4 or 5 cherry tomatoes and a tiny amount of a crumbly cheese and dressing (very tasty and very tiny). The last dish we all tried (one liked well enough) was the Mac&Cheese which was so very oversalted we left it. Our guests who took us to dinner liked the wedge salad. The owner came out and apologized for the Mac and cheese and the wait staff took the charge off our bill. All in all I'd say the wait staff needs more training (know the wine list and what is and is not available) and the chef needs to taste more often. I am a local here and probably will not return. The good part was that our guests paid the bill...

The restaurant was cute. The renovation was done quite nicely. It was very noisy, however. The meal was much pricier than its quality called for. The servings were small. Note that I like small servings. These were tiny. The idea, per our waiter, is that one orders several items to make up a meal. The problem is that a small, albeit very nice, beet salad is priced at $9. For heaven's sake, it's a beet salad no matter how fancy a name the restaurant puts on it. So, for two small salads, two miniscule main plates, one over floury and unimaginative cobbler, and one beer, we paid more than $70, including a reasonable tip. And, the food was oversalted! Definitely not worth it. It was such an unsatisfactory experience that when asked in the parking lot on our way out, we steered some visitors away. The reviews here are quite misleading. It is not an imaginative restaurant nor is the food tasty. Stay home!

My husband and I were in Sequim for the weekend, and we finally got to try Blondie's Plate! So much fun--everything from the small plates, to chatting with the owner, to enjoying the ambiance of the former church... And the food was heavenly!

Stopped in at Blondies while passing through Sequim, Washington. Happen to hit happy hour, the food was delicious. The restaurant is a renovated church, great ambiance, clean, creatively decorated. The staff are friendly and efficient. We plan to come back the next time we're back in town for sure!
