I find it very hard to write a negative review, let alone one this bad with photos.I have been staying at this hotel for over 6 years, I have watched the gradual decline of this facility due to maintenance, and cleaning.

My fist issue with the Quality Inn is the smell in the rooms, there is a musty odor bad odor. Secondly the elevator carpet, and room carpets are FILTHY, so filthy you can see and smell them please feel free to see the photos below.

The breakfast buffet has been reduced to waffles, cereal and yogurt. Every time I visit I wonder what they will take away next. The eggs went away a while back.

It is a strange situation since the Sister Hotel to the Quality is the Holiday Inn Express at the other end of Sequim. Both hotels are owned by the same owner but night and day in cleanliness.

I just hope Mr. Wirta the owner knows whats going on at his hotels.

Stayed here just overnight and rode the nearby bike trail. The hotel was very clean, seemed new and staff was very very helpful. I had just signed up and received points for a choice hotel card and was impressed with this hotel so booked more along my cross country trip at other Quality Inn's. Unfortunately, the experience at the others were not nearly as nice as this one. If you are concerned about the standards and cleanliness you do not need to worry here. This hotel meets all my fussy requirements! You can bike to the Olympic Discovery Trail (Great Trail that is paved) down the street easily. Applebee's Restaurant next door was surprisingly good and downtown Sequim, just a mile or so away was so quaint and clean and nice town. I'd go back.

Room Tip: Top floor is always quieter.

The hotel is modern and well maintained. Staff were really helpful, friendly and welcoming. Rooms were well serviced and clean. Located near to shops and restaurants and conveniently just 14 miles from Port Angeles and Olympia National Park visitor centre.

The continental breakfast was comprehensive and of very good quality.

Difficult to find any fault with this hotel.

Room Tip: Rooms furthest away from Interstate 101 will be quietest

For the area, this is a very nice hotel. Breakfast is included, there is a nice pool and laundry facilities. The rooms are clean and well taken care of. Refrigerator, microwave, TV, all updated. The staff is very friendly and helpful, and this property is right next to the freeway - super convenient. I thought the price was reasonable, and would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Room Tip: East facing rooms will get bright morning sun.

This hotel was very clean and quiet. The room came with a refrigerator and microwave. Check in and out was quick and easy. The hotel has interior corridors and an elevator. They have an indoor pool which was good for a swim. It is close to Port Angeles and Olympic National Park. The hotel is back a ways from the road so there is minimal road noise.

Didn't get into holiday inn or other places, so booked this. Was OK, not bad but nothing great either. It is very close to freeway, and sits in the complex with different restaurants instead of even slightly scenic views- if you like convenience, should be good for you.

Pros- Breakfast included and standard/ decent for an Inn. They did refill the food even with full house. The swimming pool was a little colder but good for the kids- and hot tub was good too.

Cons- Location is completely blah at best. Beds were ok but pillows too puffy for my liking. A little drive from downtown, or points of interest.

As long as you consider this as a pit stop/ sleeping place, you are fine. Nothing bad but nothing to think twice about either

We have been on the road for over 2 weeks and at a different hotel each night. We have had several hotels with not so good coffee. Finally, we enjoyed good coffee here at Quality; however, there weren't any cookies at check-in like in some other hotels. For the rate we had to pay, cookies should be included!!! If I could, I would probably rate this hotel at 3.5--not quite up to a 4. Hotel may be only a few years old, but shows some wear and tear at this point. And, the 2 sets of entry doors are manual, not automatic like in newer hotels. Has a covered drive thru. Has 3 floors with 1 elevator. Enter into a fairly small lobby with a fireplace and limited seating. Use the w-fi or the one computer in the private business center. Fitness center has only 2 machines. Has indoor pool and Jacuzzi. Do your laundry here and enjoy the coffee 24/7.

The king bed in our room was a little firmer than we are used to. Had a guest book, microwave, fridge, 2 nightstands with lamps, sitting chair, desk with 2 straight-back chairs, flat screen HDTV with decent channel, full-length mirror and another smaller mirror, clock, 2 drawers for storage, iron and ironing board, coffee and tea.

Bathroom was separated. Had sink with small amount of vanity space and mirror outside of the toilet and shower/tub combo. The toilet/tub area needs brighter light. Had one towel bar in each area with 2 hooks in the shower area. Towels and wash cloths were a little small and a little thin.

Thanks Choice hotels for using fiberboard for plates and bowls. Use it for cups, also. Had a variety of hot and cold food. The only meat was the sausage in the biscuits and gravy, and the only eggs were hard boiled. Had waffle maker, bagels, pastries, cereals, yogurt, oatmeal, toast and jelly.

Not sure if we would stay here again if ever through the area.
