Review of Wind Rose Cellars

Wind Rose Cellars
Ranked #45 of 82 Restaurants in Sequim
Price range: £8 - £39
Cuisines: Italian, Pizza, Wine Bar, Soups
Description: Wind Rose Cellars aspires to be Pacific Northwest’s premier winery for producing Italian style wines. We produce small lots of hand crafted wines from select vineyards in eastern Washington. For white wines, we produce Pinot Grigio, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Orange Muscat, and a dry rosé we called Rosato. For red wines, we produce Barbera, Primitivo, Dolcetto, Nebbiolo, Sangiovese, Cab Sauv, Malbec, Cab Franc, Petit Verdot, and Carménère. Many of these varieties are very difficult to find in Washington. The Primitivo, Dolcetto, and Nebbiolo are very rare, with around 10 acres total. From the varieties we make, many are around 120 cases per lot, with a total production of around 1000 cases. Currently offering three flights for tasting: all white wine, all red wine and a mix of whites and reds. Taste Six wines for $10.

Great wines. Michele was very friendly, and helpful. Nice atmosphere. Looks like they have great music and food events. Our schedule didn't allow us the time to join in any of those festivities. If your in Sequim, stop in a sample their wines, you wont be disappointed!

A highlight of living in Sequim, WA, we love to go to Wind Rose for a light dinner, a bottle of wine and a couple hours of live music. Angie, the manager is great and the husband and wife wine-makers are usually around on the weekend evenings, making it a very personable experience.

Located right in the heart of town, this small shop had a decent selection for tasting. Their prices were a little lower for bottles than some of the other places. If you like a good red, try their Malbec. Wine steward was helpful and friendly.

Went here for a girl's hour out and loved it. Great wines, great place. Wish I could buy their wines on the east coast!
