“yummy!”
Reviewed 5 April 2014

I've only ever had the cookies from here, but I've had them so many times I cant count. We always get a dozen and share at work. I haven't had one that I didn't like.

“Best Rye Bread in the West!”
Reviewed 17 March 2014

When we complimented a local restaurant in Bellevue about how good their rye bread was, they told us that they get it from the Snohomish Bakery. So I called them and found that they sold it at various farmers markets in the area and at their bakery. That makes it easy in the spring and summer, but in the fall and winter when we bake a pastrami, we drive the 48 mile round trip to buy a loaf of Snohomish rye bread as the best pastrami requires the best fresh crusty rye bread. There are two Snohomish Bakery's in Snohomish and both are good for pastries, but for the best Jewish Rye Bread, it the original one that has moved to a new building at 1st & Union!

“Granny 109”
Reviewed 20 December 2013

We were in the Bakery with the previous owners and it was always iffy on the food. Under the new management the family is vary willing to help and will do anything possible for you. The pastries are incredible.

“An outstanding bakery and restaurant that will have you come back again and again”
Reviewed 4 December 2013

great food choices, freshly baked bread and outstanding desserts. The lines can be long during peak times (bicycle groups stop here a lot) but the wait is worth it. The service is friendly, helpful and attentive. The soup choices are wonderful. During the summer there is outside seating as well.
during our last stop we shared a meatloaf sandwich with some kind of red cabbage slaw that was out of this world. With it we had a potato bacon soup that was particularly nice on this sunny but cool day. The prices are reasonable for what you get and we fetl that considering what we got it was money well spent.
My only suggestion for the restaurant interior would be to add some appropriate antiques to add to the atmosphere (their prior location had that while this one could improve on that); it's a bit spartan
