“Night for romance”
Reviewed 25 October 2013 via mobile

Decided at the last minute to stay here and go to a Katherine McPhee concert at the casino.(great singer) check in was easy with valet parking. Room was very nice with extra log for the fireplace (night and morning) Bed was comfortable . Wanted to enjoy the spa but steam was broken and sauna was cold. ( they did try to fix these but we couldn't wait) Staff very friendly and building was in good condition.

I had the pleasure of staying at Salish Lodge, the rooms were comfortable and opened to a balcony and the waterfall. Each room had a useable fireplace, lovely on a chilly evening. Difficult to get the shower going on the spa!!, this needs to be fixed. Enjoyable breakfast, once again overlooking the waterfall. Well worth a visit.

Room Tip: One over looking the water

While the hotel is generally very good, it can't help but fade into the background compared to the stunning location. The rooms are large and comfortable, and the log fires a nice touch if you can keep yours lit. The staff were exceedingly friendly and helpful (Zach especially on our trip) though room service was occasionally slow and required a second call to prompt delivery. The morning coffee and afternoon tea in the library is a nice touch. Food is decent, though overpriced for the quality which wasn't always perfect. Would definitely return for the cosy atmosphere and incredible views.

Room Tip: If you can afford it, book the suite. It has the best view of the falls and is a lovely space (thoug...

We took some friends from China there. It was a wonderful experience. We were fortunate to have a table by the window. The food were great, and the view was wonderful. We share a pizza, a sandwich, salads and soup.

Exceptional service and exceptional views from all rooms at the lodge! A great environment just outside of Seattle for unwinding and relaxing! A great place to spend a weekend or a few days alongside the falls on the Snoqualmie River.

Well the waterfall certainly does next door for sure. Truly remarkable location.
We were made very welcome when we arrived and have no complaints at all about the place with the staff being particularly well trained. The room was fine but a somewhat weird and feeble shower arrangement over a big whirlpool bath - do people still use those as they look so old fashioned these days?
There are two restaurants - the upstairs one is more relaxed and best for families and has a bar and the lower one is the posh one. We ate in the latter and the food, whilst good, was rather fussily prepared and, like the bath, somewhat old fashioned.
Go for a walk down the new path by the waterfall and look back up at the falls and the hotel - and take your camera.

We are thrilled that you had a wonderful experience, and are proud of our team for their efforts to ensure your stay is exceptional! Our two person jetted Jacuzzi tubs are a signature characteristic of the guestrooms, but can certainly understand a preference for a walk-in shower. We do have several suites with differing shower amenities, if interested on your next visit!

The Salish Lodge and Spa is a relaxing oasis in the middle of a busy life. At a recent stay, I found the room to be very comfortable with what may be the most comfortable bed I've slept on in recent memory. I wish I could take it home with me. The views from my room were beautiful, with a nice view of the falls and a wonderful little window bench to help enjoy the view. The fireplaces in each room are a nice touch that I found to be very cozy -- although do open the flue (another guest during our stay apparently did not read the very detailed instructions for use of the fireplace and had some smoke filling the hallways!)

The Spa was quite relaxing, although I was very disappointed that the Eucalyptus Steam Room was not working during the 2 nights of our stay. I had been looking forward to the steam room. My massage treatment was good, although not spectacular, especially for the price. Still, all in all,I would recommend the Salish Lodge and Spa for a relaxing trip away from the hustle and bustle.

Room Tip: Rooms on the 3rd floor (the floor you check in on) seemed best.
