Had some reservations about booking here after reading some of the others reviewers experiences. However, we experienced nothing but positive outcomes at every encounter. Valet was friendly and available, front desk was extra helpful and did what they said they would. (Room was not ready since we were early but they called as soon as it was and it was earlier than we expected) They put us in a lovely room close to the falls. We had a couples massage at the spa which was very nice. The Attic lounge had friendly quick service, we had the extra large breakfast in the dining room was also very good with friendly service. The rooms close to falls are pricey, but lovely sleep with high quality bedding, a nice fire and the sound of the falls made for a wonderful anniversary night for us. Will seriously consider this hotel for an upcoming company business offsite meeting...

From the time we pulled up and were warmly greeted by the valet to the time we left, every individual we encountered on the property was attentive, accommodating and hospitable which for a group of 6 girls can be tough to achieve :). We enjoyed a fun meal at the Attic complete with acoustic guitarist. The next morning started off with yoga in a room situated at the top of the falls. What a serene, breathtaking view and spiritual experience. Rewarding ourselves with a delicious brunch after completed a fantastic getaway. Our group is going to make this trip a tradition!

We were very pleased to get a waterside room with our deeply discounted internet special. The staff at the reception desk was gracious and helpful. After enjoying a concert at the nearby casino, we had a relaxing nightcap in the Attic lounge. Our room was nicely appointed and very comfortable. Breakfast, served in our room, arrived promptly, and was delicious. Our only drawback was an unfortunate malfunction with the building alarm system that bolted us (along with other guests) out of bed early in the morning. Overall, it was a lovely couples getaway and we would be happy to visit again.

Room Tip: Anything on the water side is nice. Even overlooking the power plant and spillway is interesting in...

From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, it was a grand experience to be at the Salish Lodge. We were warmly greeted, loved our posh room with the jacuzzi and fireplace, and the spa was a joy. Room service brought us extra coffee and firewood. We adored our breakfast. The dishes were amazing and the server did her utmost to make us feel welcome. On the morning we had to leave, valet service scraped all of the ice off our car windows and waved us off. I am looking for another opportunity to visit asap. By the way, I don't typically write these reviews for lack of time, but this one was too compelling.

Room Tip: Deluxe room!

We took 2 friends up to the falls for a special birthday breakfast. I had made reservations at least a month ahead of time and asked for a window table. When we arrived right on time, the man at the desk was not welcoming or friendly at all. We had to wait a while. While waiting I asked if we were getting a window table and he just said 'no'. We got seated at a dark corner and there was food on the floor under the table!!! The window we could kind of see out of was all fogged up. The seal must have been broken. When window tables opened we asked if we could move the server said oh no we're all full. Food was so-so but certainly not worth $20 ea. Coffee was lukewarm. Just a very disappointing morning and I was embarrassed to have picked that place!!

From the time we arrived we were greeted by the friendly staff they were very helpful and just the beginning of a wonderful stay. The room was beautiful with an amazing view as well as clean. We couldn't have been more pleased with everything the salish had to offer from the amazing rooms and the sound of the falls as you sleep to the friendly staff and all the luxuries you could hope for!

We hadn’t stayed at the Salish recently, so decided we would go back for our 35th Wedding Anniversary. We booked the Rejuvenation Package which turned out to be a pretty good deal and included two Spa treatments as well as $100 toward dinner in the “dining room”. Our River View room was spacious and very comfortable. The room included a fire place with a presto type log to burn. I don’t usually make coffee in the room, but having the Keurig coffee maker made it easy and enjoyable with Starbucks coffee, as well as tea for my wife. Note that for most rooms, you see only the river (and power plant) and not the falls due to the lodge being set behind the falls. However, it is only a short walk to see the spectacular beauty of the falls, which were “ragging” due to all the recent rain and the near flood level of the Snoqualmie River.

We had great spa treatments and enjoyed the soaking pools. Diner in the dining room was outstanding, with a window view (as we had requested for our anniversary dinner). The crab bisque was some of the best I have had, a little pricy, but well worth it. The Baby Head Lettuce Green salad was very fresh and a large serving, allowing us both to enjoy it. My wife’s filet was cooked perfectly and one of the best steaks she has had recently. The service was attentive and Robert (the dining room manger) stopped by to make sure we were being well taken care of.

I’m not sure what the complaints about staff apathy in the recent reviews was all about? All the staff we encountered were very friendly and helpful, from the upbeat greeting by the valet when we arrived, the knowledgeable reception desk personnel, the courteous spa receptionist and particularly Robert in the dining room. All I can say is don’t let one bad review turn you away. The Salish is a great place to celebrate special occasions.

Room Tip: If you want a view and can upgrade for a 4th floor room close to the falls, do it. Most of the rive...
