“Beautiful view”
Reviewed 25 August 2014

Beautiful falls, great photos and history. Look forward to coming back next year and staying at Salish Lodge. Took a peek inside and it had a spa! Looked very nice. We didn't have time to hike down but inside, a very helpful staff member told us to drive down to the bottom. We did and there was even a way to get out to the rocks. Made for some great photos!

“The Power of Nature Revealed”
Reviewed 24 August 2014

Snoqualmie Falls is an amazing area, where the beauty of the tall pines of the Northwest make a wonderful backdrop to this powerful waterfall. The Falls are located conveniently a few miles off the Interstate, just about 30 miles outside of Seattle. There is a ton of parking at the upper viewing area, although it was still packed the day we went. It is a short and easy walk to see the beautiful falls. There is also a wonderful walking trail down to the bottom of the falls, but beware, it is quite steep and unless you have thought ahead, you have to go back up this trail. Many people were on the sides of the wide trail, taking breaks, as they tried to ascend from the view. There is a parking area at the lower falls, but make sure you have a map to know where you are going. That parking area is not marked and no signs to indicate where it is. With all of those warnings, you want to see this attraction if you are in the Seattle area. The power of nature, the beauty of the falls, and the quaint town it is located near, make these falls a must.

“Better from the bottom”
Reviewed 21 August 2014

Pretty, well-maintained park at the top of the falls gives a beautiful view of the falls in the afternoon. The best view, however is from the bottom of the falls, about a 10 minute drive away. The parking lot is spacious and the boardwalk alone the river has several picture-taking opportunities. The view from the end of the 100-yard walk was the best. Go between mid-to-late afternoon for the best light.

“Beautifull!”

Definetly worth the detour. Nature is just beautiful out there. Just prak your car (free parking) and walk around!

“Beautiful but very crowded”
Reviewed 21 August 2014

We went on a Sunday afternoon and after circling the parking lot for 10 minutes we finally got a place to park. Had to wait for people to move to get any good views of the Falls but once they did it was lovely. Be warned if you are going to do the lower falls...it is a serious hike down and especially back up. We discovered there is a parking lot down there so if you have an older person or anyone who is not in good physical shape you might want to opt for driving down there. Our group of two 50 year olds and 4 twenty somethings are in good shape but all of us were sweaty messes but the time we got back up to the main Falls area.
