This restaurant could probably edge a little higher than average . . .it clearly is the best game in town on Snoqualmie Ridge. The interior is pleasant with nicely appointed tables, there is a nice patio for outside dining, and the staff is pleasant. The food falls slightly short of being really good. The red sauce reads differently for the various dishes, but it all tastes the same regardless of what it is served with. Can't say I'm a fan of dill on Italian food -- basil, yes! The lettuce was just a little past its prime and there was way too much frieze and not enough hearty mixed greens. The portions were generous, but the seafood in the dishes was a little tough. The bread, which appeared to be cooked in a pan, was much too done on the bottom side and tasted very much like a corn bread . . .a strange offering. The waiter made a nice suggestion for a very modestly priced wine; and while it was not stellar, it was certainly drinkable for the price. We came from Kirkland and Issaquah to have dinner there, and we wished it had been just a bit better overall.

Our reserved "al fresco" table and all-Italian wait service were ready for us and on presentation of the menu, we knew we were going to enjoy our meal. Reognizing favorites, we ordered Caesar salad with anchovies, gnnochi and tortellini with pesto cream sauce, wild mushroom ravoli, putanesca, veal that was tender and herbed salmon. We shared to try each dish, bemoaned the fact that we couldn't eat more and try the other autenic homemade entres, let alone the cannoli, tiramisu and more for dessert and promised ourselves that we would go back and try the others. We were four adults and two small chidren finding it was a family-friendly dining venue in a delightful village.

If you didn't live in the neighborhood you would never find this place. This is one time a Groupon paid off. We had a Groupon to dine here so we drove out on a Sunday evening. There is probably no other reason to go out to this little town so it was such a surprise to find this Gem. Small restaurant but on a Sunday evening there were perhaps 6 tables full. Everything we ate was wonderful. Wine prices weren't bad. Did I say the food was good? ;-) Good and nice size portions. We had a party of three and all three guests gave it 2 thumbs up. Service was a little different as the waiter was just filling in and new at it but what would you rather have, good food and okay service or great service and okay food? The waiter was giving it 100% so I am not taking any points away on account of him. Go find this place. The Groupon got us in and now we can't wait to go back. I would recommend this place for any day but Friday and Saturday. I hear they get quite busy on the weekend so go pick any other day and get great personal service and have your food come from the kitchen perfect as the chef isn't swamped with 50 customers. It was a great Sunday evening meal.

As an Italian, I'm always searching for a good Italian meal. Our recent trip allowed me to make the choice in a restaurant that is as close to my families dinners then any other on the Eastside.
Excellent food, service,
It is an outstanding neighborhood gem.

We had a Groupon for this small Italian restaurant and She had the Lobster Ravioli I had the Lamb chops, in a word, great! We started with an appetizer of Goat chesse and red sauce, served with toastini. We were sold at that point. The lobster ravioli stole the show though. Nice little place.
