“They Changed the Lasagna.....WHY?”
Reviewed 7 June 2014

They changed the lasagna...oh the horror...fortunately, the new version is still very good, and a massive portion...a little more spice than before...

however, everything else was still as great as before...the portabella/gorgonzola appetizer was great, calamari was very good (in a red sauce, not the fried kind)...and the desserts...the Tiramisu, the Cannolis, and the Strawberries ala Maria is also great...and we would have also ordered the Lemon Ricotta Cheesecake, but it was just out of the oven and not ready to be served...

Service was excellent....

and even though I was a bit disappointed with the change to the lasagna (or am I imagining this?), I was still very glad we drove 30 mins out of the way to eat here....

“Enjoying the town...”
Reviewed 2 June 2014

We recently were on vacation - visiting family - and getting married. We were browsing through this cute little mountain town after a day of hiking and were told by a few that 'this great little italian place was worth a try' - so - we went. Immediately upon entering the establishment - we were greeted by the server, who immediately sat us - gave us menus - told us of 'today's special' and asked what we would like to drink. Fast, good service is always a plus!

We were still kinda full from the four course breakfast we had at the Salish Lodge Dining that morning - even after hiking - so we passed on the appetizers - although they sounded great. Ordered dinner. There were approximately 6 other dining at the time but the entrees came in no time (which worried me a bit - considering we've read everything is homemade). The entrees were hot, fresh, and YES - homemade! I attest - we are restaurant owners and somewhat critical of where we dine - and can certainly tell the difference between canned sauce and homemade - THIS WAS HOMEMADE!

FOOD: Great

SERVICE: Above average

ATMOSPHERE: Quint and inviting - great for the area!

As you can see from the pic - yummmmmm

“Great little Italian”
Reviewed 28 May 2014

My husband and I visited Gianfranco's after a long day of house hunting. The restaurant was fairly full but we were still seated quickly. Our server was friendly, happy and diligent about making sure we were taken care of without being pesty. The food was delicious and plentiful. As, we've just moved into the neighborhood I'm sure we'll be back again.

“Very nice local folks, food was great (not amazing, but great)”
Reviewed 26 April 2014

This was homestyle Italian food, excellent choice of wines, not a huge menu but the food was great and it was exactly what we were hoping for.

“Great food, HUGE portions”
Reviewed 18 November 2013

Stopped by for dinner last week after visiting Snoqualmie Falls. We were early and the only people in the restaurant. The service was great and the food was really good. My only complaint was the the portions were too big. 3-4 people could seriously eat 1 entree. I felt bad that we couldn't eat all the food and it had to go to waste. We couldn't take any with us since we were staying in a hotel.
