“road trip with Mom”
Reviewed 26 September 2013

I recently took my mother on a road trip up Hwy 101. Her father lived his final days in Raymond, Wa and we wanted to explore a bit. This motel looked better than any of the others and in person it was great. We had two adjacent units, 23 and 24. The recliner chairs are super! Beds are comfy, bathrooms and kitchens well equipped. Parking is on the street and someone was parked in front of our rooms but that was a minor inconvenience. This motel is on a very quiet street. Laurie was very helpful and friendly. I walked around this charming town the next day and we visited the county courthouse -well worth seeing!

I was in this area for my son's wedding, and there were very few choices of hotels. No big deal, we weren't there for a fancy hotel stay. But the Seaquest was a highlight of the time! Cute property, squeaky clean room, nice amenities. We stayed in the largest room of the property - really a 2-bedroom small apartment, with full kitchen! My daughter and her husband were with us. Just a great place, and very affordable.

We stayed in room 21. everything about the room was excellent. The owners helped us out with the cable. Laurie and Kathy made sure our in room supplies were plentiful. We had a handicap person with us and he got around fine. we had wireless hook up for my laptop

We recently travelled from Vancouver to San Francisco via motorcycle. Our first stop was in South Bend and our experience at the Sea Quest was a great start to our trip. The accommodations were perfect for our needs and the owner provided safe parking for our motorcycles.

Room Tip: All rooms booked were great.

Huge rooms with full amenities and awesome hosts. Good thing, because there is almost nothing else in South Bend except to walk to the main street, grab some fresh oysters, and a bottle of wine from the liquor store across the street and revel in the quiet atmosphere that is South Bend.

We made a last minute reservation at the Seaquest. The only units available were the ones on the ground floor which backed up to the office. We had unit 10. Laurie, who was on duty when we arrived and checked out the next morning was excellent. She was very helpful, especially when we could not figure out how to activate the cable tv sevice. Whole the unit was very clean and comfortable, the floor on the unit above ours squeaked loudly when the occupant above walked about. The noise woke us a couple of times. A suggestion: include the instructions on how to operate the cable tv system in the information binder. It requires manipulation of 2 remotes. Everything else in the unit worked fine and we really did like the recliners. The Seaquest is definitely a bargain and should be considered by travelers wanting a unique lodging experience.

I stay here for work, not often but wow when I do its a nice CLEAN surprise. Its really rare that people in are nice to me when they find out I am a business traveler, but these folks do remember and they are nice. The cabins are kind of cool. I have not had a bad room here yet. Summer season they can be busy book ahead of time.

Room Tip: Try and get a small cabin.
