Mount Spokane is a nice local ski spot. It is not a resort by any means, but for the locals or those staying in Spokane it is a decent place to take advantage of the snow in the winter. There a multiple trials but nothing that is exceptionally impressive. The bunny hill is a good size and a great place to start learning the tricks of the trade. Although this is not a super impressive skiing venue, for its size, prize and location it really is a great family day trip for us locals.
In the summer months it has some beautiful hiking areas and over-looks, so don't think it is just a winter day-trip destination.

Not a destination resort, but a very fine community ski and snowboard area. Vintage #2 lodge nicely remodeled and updated. Staff well trained and courteous (much improved, and continuing). Trail and slope development and maintenance progressing nicely each year, and snow grooming impeccable. The five old double chairs are mechanically perfect. We can't fly off to Alta or Steamboat every week, but a 40 min drive to ski for a morning, or after work for evening lighted skiing keeps us tuned up for the big trip. And bargained price season passes for kids and seniors ensures a multigenerational howl some fun experience.

The skiing in the winter is the main attraction of the mountain. The staff is pretty good and the skiing has lots of blue routes if you know what I mean. But the mountain has other things to offer like hiking and snowshoeing which you can do pay free pretty much.

The Mount Spokane area is a great place for outdoor enthusiasts, nature lovers, and those just looking for a nice Sunday drive. Road and mountain bike options are plentiful. Trail maps are available at the park entrance. Hiking possibilities are everywhere and several camping areas are available as well. A drive to the top affords great 360° views of the surrounding areas. Winter provides both downhill and cross-country skiing. This is definitely worth a visit several times a year. A $30 per year Adventure Pass is required for parking within the park.

Forget the modest ski resort on the east side. Come in summer and explore the other 3/4 of the mountain. There's a great paved road to huge summit views, and a fantastic trail network: the hike from the park gate to the summit is a 3 hour gut buster. Two other higher trailheads offer shortcuts. Nearly the summit the terrain is true subalpine meadow and forest. Magical, even though you wind up on the summit viewpoint parking lot.
