This is the perfect location. It is so close to the mall and all the great restaurants and bars that downtown Spokane has to offer. Everything within walking distance. The apartment was very clean and new. We will definitely stay there again!
Our first bed was made with the fitted sheet halfway down the bed. As we were trying to remake the bed so we didn't have to sleep on the mattress cover, we discovered things stuck to the headboard that had not been cleaned and things splattered on the comforter. We were moved to a new room that was mostly clean except for brown dried things that we had to clean from the kitchen sink. We were planning to make the best of it until the hammering began at 7 AM the next morning, followed by hammer drills and other loud noises. The main reason we chose this location was for the rooftop lounge where we planned to relax and spend time together as a family. There is no rooftop lounge or shared kitchen space, only a rooftop under construction and a kitchen area with folding chairs that was being used as a break room for the workers remodeling the hotel. The general disrepair, dust, dirt, tools laying around, and construction zone feel of this location is not welcoming at all. The advertisement states that it has been renovated but that is most definitely false advertising. It is in the process of being renovated. The workers starting work at 7 AM goes against the 9 PM to 9 AM quiet time that was guaranteed. I would never stay here again and, considering how we were treated by Bridget in regards to our refund, we will never utilize Stay Alfred again.
Excellent place to stay, once you get in. The check in procedure is a pain because there’s currently not a front desk as the building is still under construction. The only real lasting complaint are the blinds. They block no light at all so at 6:00 am if you have an east facing window it will look like high noon in your room.
Other than that, superb accommodations in a wonderful location.
