Well, it was one of the most delightful events ever. My husband worked with the ballet company that performed, but he and I could not believe how this Symphony rivals any other across the country!

We have a wonderful Symphony in Spokane which is a special treat given our size and location. My husband and I have been subscribers to the Classic and Soiree series for 20 years.

The music is as good as it gets at very reasonable pricing and there isn't a bad seat in the venue. Probably the best entertainment buy in Spokane.

A decent professional, if parochial orchestra with a pretentious and semi-competent conductor at the helm who has stayed too long. Be prepared for uneven performances, local soloists, and some interesting interpretative turns. The hall that they perform in is wonderful, however.

It's not the NY Philharmonic, or even the Seattle Symphony, but they bring in great guest artists to complement a solid group. I'm sure there are better out there, but I can't tell the difference. They also put on all sorts of shows, from Labor Day in the Park to Jazz Orchestra (oldest in America) and more.
