“Something for Everyone”
Reviewed 3 November 2013

Rose, Formal, Japanese, Perennial, Dahlia, Butterfly Gardens; duck pond, tennis court, splash pad, play structures, natural areas, greenhouse, picnic spots, hills (sledding!), meadows, picnic areas. A small restaurant (the Park Bench) operates in warm weather. Plan to stay for a long time, wear walking shoes, and leave your food and pets in the car when visiting the Japanese Garden (which changes every year).

“Great Park - must see”
Reviewed 31 October 2013

I love this park. It was a unexpected surprise to find - especially in the spring. Lots of flowers and gardens.

“Beautiful Fall Colors”
Reviewed 28 October 2013

If you are on the South HIll of Spokane and looking for a place to enjoy a walk with your dog, consider Manito Park. It's a large, diverse park in the middle of a classic South Hill neighborhood with plenty of big, mature trees lining walking paths, ponds and gardens. A perfect place to take in the colors of fall.

“hard to find”
Reviewed 20 October 2013

It was hard to find, not marked clearly. Got lost several times, made wrong turn. But once we found it, we all enjoyed it very much. Roses we still blooming! Beautiful place!

“We visit often”
Reviewed 14 October 2013

This is such a beautiful park with lots of beautiful flowers to see and places to visit in the park. Has a great spot for having family events, a duck pond to visit, an observatory, rose garden, Japanese garden, and much more. During the summer months, check out the Park Bench for a nice lunch to eat in the park. Beautiful setting for weddings and senior pictures.
