Owner description: The Martin Woldson Theater at The Fox is located in beautiful downtown Spokane, WA, in the heart of the Lilac City's entertainment district. The Theater opened in 1931, as a 2300-seat movie theate. The recently renovated Martin Woldson Theater at The Fox, which seats approximately 1600 today, has promoted the arts, enthralling and entertaining old and young across the decades. Today, the theater exemplifies Spokane's rich and vibrant performing arts scene, housing the Spokane Symphony, as well as acclaimed entertainers, dance troupes, musical acts, and theater talents.

Facility blew my socks off, What a fantastic venue for Spokane.
Saw the trombonist Eubanks do his thing and found the show a little long and a bit disjointed.

Thank John W

Gorgeous Art Deco, excellent sound. Seeing any performance here is a treat and hearing a concert is a greater treat. It helps that the Spokane Symphony is outstanding

The Fox is an example of a near tragedy of historical preservation turned into a success story. After being shuttered, in a run down part of town, it was finally purchased by the Symphony. Although they did expand the back section to accommodation their needs, historical preservation appears to be taken into account on the rest of the restoration. It is one of the FINEST example of art deco and a must so for those who appreciate this. The filigree style paintings are only bested by the incredible light fixtures. Thank you to the private donor who funded this project. NOTE: this part of town seems to have been reclaimed and makes for an interesting little "walk about" with its quaint cafe's and taverns.

This theater has been meticulously and lovingly restored to its former glory. Concerts and performances in this venue are a thing to remember.
