We returned to this Bed and Breakfast 7 years after our first stay because we remembered the Inn Keeper, Mary Beth, and our stay so fondly. This is one of the best B and B's we've had the pleasure of visiting. Mary Beth is really the key. She is incredibly warm and hospitable with a knowledge of the area stemming from being a long time resident of the beautiful Tacoma area. Her recommendation for a great Italian restaurant nearby was spot on. While making us feel completely welcome and at home, she runs a tight and professional business. She has managed to find that delicate balance that so many others have missed. Her years of experience in the hospitality industry and concerted efforts toward continued education at conferences and through her associations are plainly evident. Her breakfasts are always delicious and gourmet enough to feel special without being over your head. A highlight for us is the varied garnish sprigs of mint, a new one each day, from her garden. All 3 rooms are so sweet and special. I have yet to sleep again on such heavenly bed linens. Though this is an older home, it is well kept and extremely clean, with abundant charm. To be honest, the first time we stayed, we did so on our local friends' recommendation. We would have otherwise passed it over, and would we have missed out. Whenever we find ourselves in the area again, we will be certain to stay at the Green Cape Cod.
