Wright Park in Tacoma is located so that the Stadium District is at one end and 6th Avenue is at the other. It is a great gem of a park that has been a favorite with our family for just about forever. It is 27 acres that feature the Seymour Conservatory, duck pond, playground, walking paths, and broad lawns. It is a cool spot when the summer gets warm and always interesting no matter what the season.
The park has a large number of ancient and historical trees making it well worth exploring. If there is a drawback it is that on the day of our visit the duck pond needed a little housekeeping. Outside of that, Wright Park is as close to perfect as it gets.
