We had a family reunion with cousins that I haven't seen for several decades. The staff was great, making sure we had a fantastic table (we made reservations via phone in advance) and the hostess and waitress were wonderful. We weren't rushed, had a lot of attention to our needs, and even the valet took pictures of us outside before we left. Everyone was warm and great!
The food was average, and therefore was overpriced for the value and quality. One cousin ordered the bacon meatloaf and loved it. My Copper River salmon was dry and overcooked, which was a disappointment since I love it so much. My husband's seafood pasta was dry, no real sauce, and again overcooked. I was told that the pork chop was fine, but not great. I didn't send my salmon back, since I thought I was the only one who wasn't thrilled with their entree, and I didn't want to make a fuss or put a damper on the evening--especially if everyone was eating their meal while it was still warm.
The cocktails were nice, a good wine selection, and the opportunity for one guest to order a half glass, which is unusual and appreciated.
We usually come for happy hour or late night, and I think we will continue that and not dinner, as we felt that the expense was not worth the quality of food we received, but we always have enjoyed the service.
