A vendor company representative decide to take a few of us out for dinner. We all decided the Claim Jumpers Restaurant in Tukwila Wa, just south of Seattle, would be a nice place to go. The last time I had been in the Restaurant was about 3 yrs ago. The greeting inside was very pleasant and it just got better from there. Everyone from the escort person that took us to our table, to our waiter, demonstrated top notch attitude and service. Everyone in our group of 8 ordered something different from the menu that had a huge variety of meals. The food was terrific, the portions large, and all with outstanding service. This is the way a dining experience should be.

we made a reservation to the tukwilla claim jumper a week before for 16 people which they said no problem. when we arrived, they had our name but indication of how many people. we waited 30 minutes and they put us in a room that had been closed up for the day. that room had to have been over 100 degrees. the waitress apolgized for the heat but offered us an appetizer to make up for it. once the drinks and appetizer came even the waitress couldnt stand the heat and offered to move us to the green room with a/c. when we moved this new room had booths and tables that couldnt be moved. hardly anyone got to sit next to or even capable to talk to others. oh well, we ordered and i ordered the same as my son, the ore cart. what a joke. the ribs were so dry it tasted like beef jerky, the tri tip was undercooked and terrible. the baked potatoe was only half cooked leaving the other half hard as a rock. that was the case for both of us. everybody else was complaining about one thing or another so we just ate what we could and left. this was my mother in law and father in laws 50th wedding anniversary. i have never been to the claim jumper but heard it was good. i will never go back. it was way to expensive to be served that kind of meal. i should have complained but thought the waitress should have brought it up when everyone took home there meals instead of eating it. i wont be going back nor will the people that was with me be going back.

Very good food and service. We were able to get a table quickly at 11:15am. The food quality and quantity was very good. Drinks were kept full, not too long to get the food and check came quickly. We could have gotten out in less than 45 minutes easily. A very good place for lunch.

I'm not sure what has happened to this restaurant. Our family used to love it. We stopped here for supper coming back from the airport. The food was of very poor quality. My dish was cold and greasy. My son unfortunately ordered fried seafood which was barely edible. Our waitress kept trying to up sell us. Our family of four paid over $100 to eat here. There are dozens of places we could have eaten excellent food for that cost. Save your money...

When they first started they weren't so like a chain. Better quality. Know there trying to pump people through there restaurant and the quality is slipping.
