How many multiple, or cascading, waterfalls do you know of in city parks? WA state has two: in Bellingham and Tumwater. The Tumwater falls has a double upper fall, a middle, and a lower. I enjoyed the lush north trail down to the lower fall. There, one could go on a paved platform and experience the spray, or shower if bold, first-hand. I then walked up the southern trail back to the top. Will take visiting friends there often, as it is clean, lush and unexpected.

So informative plus beautiful and well maintained - this park has it all, a must see for anyone visiting the area. A volunteer directed us to some amazing sights - greatly appreciated! The company I enjoyed on this adventure just made this whole park seem surreal, but to be completely honest I wouldn't doubt that magic was alive here.

Wonderful treat right next to the freeway. Beautiful hike with gorgeous scenery. Watched a couple of weddings as we strolled around. Lots of places to stop and enjoy nature as well as take pictures. Educational spots too. Pack a picnic and make a full afternoon of it! We'll definitely stop here again!
