“Great tamales!”

Always searching for great tamales across this great nation of ours. Found them in PNW. Really good pork tamales. Huge; masa was perfect; pork was melt in your mouth with perfect (mild) seasoning. Need to try their version of 'buy a dozen to take home' (maybe at Christmas). For sit down meal, these were done right.
It is actually a store/restaurant. Ample seating. Comfortable; feels warm like sitting at home. If you are searching for any Mexican foods, meats, breads, spices, treats, they will probably have it. At a minimum, don't leave without taking home a bag full of Mexican sweet breads/rolls. They are $.75 each or $8.00 a dozen. Inexpensive. Cheaper than donut run. And so much better.

Taste: Tamales were wonderful!
Price: Inexpensive (for two, $13.50...come on!)
Service: Good
Serving size: Huge
Selection: Everything you could want or take home
Location: Right off I-5, exit 102
Random: Plenty of parking

it was overly vinegary salsa verde on the (HUGE, even split!) wet burrito. watered down salsa. overly cooked tortilla chips. service was good staff friendly. the burrito meat (chicken) was tender, and other ingredients tasty, but the excessively vinegary flavors ruined it for us. we can't go back...

We ordered takeout as the in-house dining is limited and not as comfy as at home. Everything we ordered was delicious: tamales, mulitas, tacos and bean burritos. Seasoned perfectly, not bland like some chain restaurants. I was able to find a special corn flour in the store too!

I actually haven't eaten at the restaurant side (yet) but wanted to comment on the grocery store side. Great selection of Hispanic food items at great prices! Best homemade chips and salsa I've found anywhere and only $6 for a good size bag of chips and container of salsa! They have quite a variety of their salsas too. Looking forward to trying the restaurant soon!
