Our primary goal of this get-away was a romantic couples weekend. This resort is a fun spot and there were many families and a few weddings. All of this made for much noise and revelry and not a lot of quiet romantic spots. We actually asked to move rooms since we had the one next to the electrical with the weird hum and then the screaming kids checked in next door. They moved us and it was much quieter. However, noisy children was the norm not the exception. The view, food and amenities were lovely. We made the best of it by getting up early and using the property and pool area prior to 9am during adults only time. I would love to attend a wedding here, but not sure I'd come back in high season for a relaxing get away.
- Official Description (provided by the hotel):
- Walking hand in hand, you see an eagle soar overhead. You stop to skip stones across the water. Four, five, six skips. A perfect moment suspended in time. A story for dinner. This is the place where memories are made, where families come back year after year. Like having your own waterfront cottage, only better. Cartwheels on the grass. A game of badminton at sunset. Leather couches and a glass of Washington state Syrah. The sweet succulent bite of fresh oysters. Rooms that make you say “wow” when you open the door. Can this hotel be only two hours from Seattle?
