Warning, bed bug bits, beware. Booked the room thru the internet assuming some degree of quality, not expecting a lot because it is a Motel 6. Wasn't expecting the low quality of room repair. Carpet stained, patched and worn. Checked in late, if I hadn't guaranteed or could have found another place to stay I would have. The bug bites were just another pleasure which I could have missed.

This recently renovated Motel 6 was a fine choice for Wenatchee. It is located on the central strip and is a few minutes away from shopping (big box) and dining options in the city. The motel was pretty crowded based on the parking lot but wans't noisy.

The room was basic but had a contemporary feel and was clean. The tv was modern and large. There was a fridge and microwave in the room as well. The bathroom had a separate toilet/shower with the sink in the main part of the room. The room was somewhat dark however being in garden type arrangement.

I would recommend staying at the Motel 6 given the reasonable price we paid.

I was actually impressed by this motel, which is now, by the way, a Motel 6. Interesting Asian (?) contemporary decor--clean. Doors weren't air tight, so an ant or two crawled in, and the lobby smelled funny, but overall, I felt it was worth it for a place to sleep for the night.

I think most of the renovations had occurred just days before we arrived, but it was nowhere as bad as perhaps it was in the past.

Checked in and was given a "newly" renovated room, so new it hadn't been cleaned yet, there was still a painters rag on the bed, the smell of paint was unbearable and so we turned the air conditioner on to move some air and a huge plume of dust blew out as the fan started. Walked into the bathroom and there was no shower curtain and the tub was full of grit and dirt from the carpenters, etc (along with a big dead spider). I asked to be moved as this room obviously was not ready yet. I was moved to a second floor room which had not yet been renovated. Not a problem but as I crawled into bed that night I noticed a big burnhole in the comforter and upon lifting the sheets also noticed a burn hole in the sheet as well. Toilet was barely bolted to the floor and tipped when you shifted on it and the tiles behind the door were all ripped off exposing plaster and insulation. Spoke to the manager in the morning and he asked why I didn't bring this to his attention earlier. I advised had already moved once and it was around midnight when we got back to our room and noticed the other deficiencies. I asked for discount of some kind, his solution was a $5 discount!!! Needless to say, I felt it better to write this review than save the $5 bucks on a $85/night hotel. Apparently this hotel is being transferred into the Motel 6 chain, and if it is under the same management, I would steer away from this property. PS In order to get access to their free wireless internet, you needed to be out of your room to get service?

This place was built in my opion around the 60's and it shows it. Cinder block walls, stains and rips in the carpet, no bathroom fan, "ANTS" and their sign in the office said that they are no longer pet friendly. I would NOT recommend this place to my worst enemity. And we had asked the office person to NOT disturb our room, and when we came back to the room that night, the maid had been in it. To say the very least, I was not happy with this place at all.
