“Sweet, clean and cozy”

We found this on the chamber of commerce website and took up the Red Delicious room for a weekend.
First off, the area where most of the budget hotels are located (econolodge, super 8 etc) is a bit dicey- I wouldn't leave my car out for too long. So it was a relief when we pulled into the road leading to the B&B. Lots of houses around, and the B&B is well lit and in a safe area. It's about 10 minutes walk from Downtown, but I'd suggest you drive as parking is easily available there. The inn has parking at the back, and some on the road right in front too.
The B&B is a big, charming house. The hostess Angie is friendly and nice. The Red Delicious and Golden delicious rooms share a bathroom, but the hosts tell me that they try to keep one of the rooms unoccupied the best they can. It's true, the entire inn was occupied for the weekend except the Golden delicious room, so the bathroom was pretty much ours to use. The bathroom was big and was clean. The Red Delicious room where we stayed was a cosy room. It had a full bed, a sofa chair, a tiny TV and a closet. A/C worked fine, it was a 105 F day and it kept us cool, the white noise blocked out the occasional car noise. The bed was a little too bouncy but manageable, and the room gets flooded with light by 6 AM, so bring your sleep masks along. The white curtains don't help.
Breakfast included fresh fruits, cereal, hot cross buns and a freshly made omelette and sausage/ham. She grills some hot vegetables for the vegetarians. Good spread.
All in all, great value for the money- we spent about the same as what we would've spent on a hotel, probably slightly less, and had a great and safe stay here. I highly recommend this place.

Room Tip: The Golden delicious room looks to be the smallest but it is the quietest.

A coworker and I stayed at the Apple Country Inn for a week-long work trip. The rooms were lovely and comfortable, and the hosts were warmly welcoming (but understood that we wanted quiet time to ourselves). The breakfasts were delicious! We will definitely stay here again next time we're in the Wenatchee area.

My friend and I stayed in the Gala room. Lovely room with it's own bathroom and plenty of room for two. Lots of hot water, breakfast was stellar, and the coffee was terrific. Fruit and cookies whenever you wished. The location is very close to amenities like restaurants and pubs and shops, within walking distance. The rooms are very clean and the bed is like heaven!

On a last minute trip for skiing, we found Apple Country Inn to be one of the best places to stay. We chose the Cameo Apple room because it felt cozy to us - we both loved the blue decor, quilt, and corner of the house. It also had its own bathroom, which I preferred. The owners, Angie & Dave are from England and were the most hospitable.

We were tired and a bit hungry. Included in the book they gave us were some restaurant recommendations, but they both suggested McGlinn's, which, as Dave said, was a 5 minute walk there and 10 minutes back, right in downtown Wenatchee. They were correct that the food was delicious, but we walk a bit slower. A beautiful night walk for both of us.

In the morning there was a full pot of coffee with a couple creamer selections, juice, fresh fruit, breads, and jams made by Angie, followed by perfect omelettes with real (yummy!) bacon. The plate was garnished with asparagus and a roasted tomato. I think Dave told us that he grew the tomatoes in his greenhouse - special treat in February!

Before we left they gave us a weather report, directions and suggestions for visiting Cashmere and Leavenworth, WA - two cute little tourist towns. Dave even took time to take our photo out front.

It was wonderful and we'd both return there on our next getaway!

Room Tip: We felt the Cameo room was the coziest.

The 8 people of the Boy's Bike ride booked the entire apple Country Inn on September 19 and 20, 2011 and we were treated like royalty. The the British owners really know how to treat royals. We followed their recommendations for our first night and had a great meal at the local steak house. The second night we Barbecued using their excellent BBQ and grill tools. They even shared some of their abundant garden vegetables for our side dishes. Breakfast was excellent and the rooms were comfortable. They were cute too, but, hey! we are guys and we don't notice such things. We do know good food when we get it though.

We liked it so much that we booked the place for the same week next year before we left.

Room Tip: Two of the rooms do not have bathrooms in the room but the one in the hall is close by.

poor quality lines, you can hear what everyone is doing in the other rooms, people not particularly friendly and breakfast was very average.
