Little Richard's undoubtedly has the best doughnuts and fritters in Westport, WA. The only problem is that in the off season they are only open on Saturday and Sunday and start when the baker comes in, which may be late around 8am. Once the doughnuts are gone, they are closed. So get there early for the best Apple Fritters ever made. They are quite unique in that it is a huge pillow of perfect dough filled with an apple pit type filling. I would love just the empty dough it they sold that.

We have been coming to Westport for over 30 years. Back in the day, you could count on these amazing donuts down at the marina. We don't eat alot of donuts, but these are so good, we really look forward to it when we are at the ocean for a few days.

Over the last few years, however, it is now rarely ever open. And this is because they apparently "don't feel like it." Nice to know that the recession hasn't affected them and that they don't need to make money.

Even the business leaders in the city are frustrated. Apparently the owner opens up occasionally during the week when no one knows, and then the donuts go to waste.

What a stupid way to run a business. The donuts, when they do get made, are the best you'll ever have. Consider that even during the most busy holiday weekends, there's a CLOSED sign on the door. Someone should buy up this business and actually run it like one! Westport needs a bakery!! If there's anyone out there looking to open up a good, well-run bakery, PLEASE COME TO WESTPORT. With fishing as good as it is now, the fishermen would love it too.

In the thirty times we have been in town we were able to go in and have donuts and drink twice. And the grandkids really looked forward to going there. Upon inquiring about the hours we were told "its open when they feel like it". We know the economy was bad and one would think that the tourists bring in the $'s.
