“Nice lake- nice campground- friendly people!”
Reviewed 7 July 2014 via mobile

We stopped over for one night in the east campground. We have a pull camper and stayed in a spot with full hookups. Every single person we talked to was so very friendly!!! The lake is small-ish but nice. We paddleboarded around the lake for about two hours and had a pleasant experience. :-) the cost with the one day discover pass- full hookup spot was $47.00 for the night. A little pricey but still less expensive than a hotel and much more fun!

“Beautiful sunset - - -”
Reviewed 30 June 2014

For a change of pace, go to the lake, it's cooler there, and the water looks very inviting. Enjoyed the little marmots hanging out there, and various birds.

“Tiny, quiet lake with ample camping options.”
Reviewed 17 June 2014

Close to two small towns (Winthrop and Twist) with a variety of shops and restaurants, but very quiet and pristine...no highway or train tracks close by! Wish some small motor boats had been available for rent.

“Quiet, relaxed mini-lake.”
Reviewed 6 June 2014

Camped in the private campground but "public" ones looked equally nice. Loved the quiet as no highway nearby, enjoyed watching the ducks and birds. Wished there had been more trees and motorized boats available to rent (row boats. peddle boats and kayaks were available.

“Nice place”
Reviewed 4 June 2014 via mobile

I was a little frustrated at first trying to find a ranger when needed because we didnt reserve and needed to move the second night. But it was a clean place with friendly staff and nice people. Very dog friendly. The children 3 and 6 had a blast. We will be going back
