Clean, green, great people. This campground has tepees, campsites, hookups, and they plan to have cabins soon. It is within walking distance of the town of Winthrop which has great shopping, restaurants, and a beautiful river with rafting and fishing. Lots of biking and hiking possibilites. Try weekdays when the town is less busy, and spring and fall are beautiful here. The campground has been completely redone, save for the beautiful old log cabin, which now houses a super laundry facility. Say hi to Anna.

We have stayed here a few times in years past and always loved it. We do not tow a dinghy so it is nice to be able to walk to town. When it closed down we were very sadden by the news but so glad it has re-opened. Stayed once last summer and will be back again this year.

My wife and I had the absolute pleasure of staying at Pine Near RV Park this last summer with friends and family. Wow what a great place to rest and have some fun. Anna and her husband are the new owners. We felt like we were staying at a B & B rather than an RV park. Anna took care of everything. And Grace, her little daughter played with our grandaughter Katiebug all weekend. She joined us for dinner and smores as well. This is the finest RV Park in Okanogan County and if you are anywhere near Winthrop, you should really stay here. The deer are very friendly and come right into the area. Lots of grass, huge lots size, the restrooms and showers were super clean and nice! You can walk to town for some live music and great places to eat. Our family has already decided to make this an annual trip to stay at Pine Near RV Park. Thanks guys!

Room Tip: Stay in the TeePee! Book early

We found this park on Trip Advisor and decided to give it a try. We had stayed in Winthrop before and were less than impressed with the state RV park up at the lake. WOW!!! is all we can say. We pulled into a very scenic, green, calm and quiet park-like setting and were greeted outside by Anna. She and her husband recently bought the park and are remodeling, adding to the facilities, and have all of the sites green and beautiful. Even the tent area is very, very nice and secluded.

The hookups were solid, the water was excellent, and the WIFI worked great. Each site has a fire ring and a very nice, clean picnic table.

One really great aspect of Pine Near is that it is on a little side street just above the main, downtown area of Winthrop. This makes it very quiet and secluded from the hubub of the heavy traffic and tourism of the town itself. But, they have an agreement with the museum right across the street to cut through and use their walkway down to town. We had a 77 year old friend with us. We all walked to the main drag in just a few minutes several times with no problem. We should also add that the rates were very reasonable.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there and will go again and again.

Room Tip: Some sites enjoy full sun, others a lot of shade. Availability rules of course, but Anna chearfully...

We loved this park. The new owners are working to rebuild a park that had apparently fallen into disrepair. The location is wonderful and it's a true value for the area. The best thing about it is the lovely Anna who is so very sincere in her efforts to make your stay comfortable.

We've stayed here for the last 13 years. After being closed down for a couple years it is now open again. The new owners and management have brought one of our favorite places back to life! We love the place! It is conveniently located and has a comfortable and inviting atmosphere. Wether you have a motorcycle or an RV (or both) we would highly recomend staying here on your way through Winthrop.

We were treated to a clean, grassy park with full hook-ups. Though only one block from Winthrop, a very unique and friendly town, we had the feeling of being out of town. There were deer walking right through our site, lots of shade trees, and the owner, Anna, was sooo helpful and pleasant. We were there for the Blues Festival, but spent most of our time "at home" in camp. Our friends stayed in a tipi, on site, a truly special experience. We've already reserved for next year, as I'm sure a lot of campers will soon discover this wonderful park. .
